"Very comfortable home with convenient main floor primary suite(s). Kitchen was extremely well appointed and the set up of the home was pleasant and welcoming."
"Excellent location! The sound nature trail is great for walking the dog and seeing the sunset. The sound pool and the indoor fitness place are super close. Even though you have to drive to the beach (when trolley is not running) there are so many public access points and the public parking lots are sometimes closer to the access ramp then certain homes in the developments. Meaning the walk from some house rentals to the development beach access can be long. The 4x4 beach and lighthouse are close by. Shopping is super convenient with food lion and Harris tweeter and Timbuck II less than 10 minutes."
"Extremely clean. Liked the 2 floors....fewer steps.... bedrooms on the first floor were nicely located. Beautiful kitchen. Flies were a problem but I don't think there was anything anyone could do about that."
"very clean. bedrooms on first floor so no climbing stairs. since this is a dog friendly property i would have fenced area for dogs to be let out at night. king bedroom first floor has the best matress,really need to replace other mattresses. i would stay there again, i had the comfy mattress!"

"Layout is great. Love the slgate on the deck for safety in the pool area. Home is lovely and very comfortable. The bay location is wonderful. Amenities at Corolla Light make it a great option for families."

"We had the BEST week at Moonshell. It was so peaceful. We enjoyed listening and watching the Osprey who's nest is behind the house. The pool was perfect and with the trolly we were only a few minutes from the beach. We went to the sound in the evening's to watch the beautiful sunset, just a short walk away. Corolla Light Putting green and fitness center are just steps away from the house. As well as walking distance to two ice cream shops. We loved that the home had two first floor masters with minimal stairs. The owner called to check on us and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We will be back next year for sure!"

"We had an amazing week at Moonshell, wish we could have stayed longer! The owner called after check in and made sure we had everything we needed and recommended some local spots. The house was very kid friendly with baby gates at the stairs and on the deck leading to the pool. We also loved that there were simple alarms on the doors leading to the pool that would alert us had one of the kids tried to walk out. The house was also great for my mobility challenged mother with all the main living areas and master bedroom on the first floor. Can't wait to come back!"
"Layout is great. Kitchen is wonderful. Plenty of utensils, pots and pans, dishes, and so on. Big surprise: TWO dishwashers and although electric, stove is large with ample burners. Washer and dryer are great. Gas barbecue grill is large, clean, and gas is piped in."
"The home is comfy with a wonderful kitchen set up. The pool and the pool deck inviting and comfortable as well. Quiet area and close access to the trolley. This is one of our favorite homes to stay at and we have stayed all over the Corolla light!"

"Our stay at Moonshell was perfect. The home accommodated our entire family of fourteen. Everything was wonderful!! The kitchen was well stocked with items needed for meal prep, plus a pool and hot tub. The owner reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. The only negative matter was due to the rental company not providing adequate towels. We had four towels for fourteen people. Moonshell is a lovely home with all the comforts of home and then some. I would not hesitate to go back in the future!!"
"Very nice home! All three grandkids had their own room. Adults had spacious rooms too!! A few items needed to be addressed and fixed -(typical of extremely busy rental homes.) Hopefully by telling Twiddy promptly, they will be fixed for next occupants. Pool and hot tub were awesome! Totally recommend this home! Awesome Memories were definitely made!! Thanks Moonshell!!"

"Great home for our family vacation!! It suited our needs well. Loved that it had the first level living for my mother who has issues with stairs. The pool and hot tub were great perks! Only improvement I would make would be upgrading the ac units in the 2 bedrooms upstairs to the Mitsubishi wall units, so there would be less bugs coming in the window. Otherwise, great vacation home!! We will be back!!"

"Very nice home. Small enough for our family of four. It was pet friendly and there was the normal smell that said there have been dogs in this house, but not overwhelming. The two smallest bedrooms upstairs have window units to keep them cool. Might be a problem in the summertime. The master bathroom is great, the master bedroom has a double bed. Not so great. We were able to use the front bedroom with the king sized bed, but had to go back to the master bedroom to use the master bath. Not a problem for us, but if you had a full house, could be an unexpected surprise. Loved the week we were there."

"This is a great house. Love the big kitchen, pool and mini garden. I totally recommend. One thing I want to mention is the carpet. It is quite old and has a lot of stain on it. I hope this house get new floor in the near future. And people who brings their pets, train them first!"
