We only used it when unloading and loading the cars, we travel with heavy coolers and it was a godsend not to have to lug them up the stairs Also loved that the house was well insulated, I couldn’t believe that I couldn’t hear others showering or flushing toilets, even the room directly next to where I slept. Kitchen was well equipped. We bring all of our food and cook all week and I found the kitchen able to meet our needs."

"Think about 5 years old, but still in very nice condition. Good for a small group. Lots of bedrooms, but limited living space. Great location, easily walk to groceries, restaurants and shopping. 3rd time there!"
"Great, immaculate house! We typically stay closer to the ocean but decided to give this a try since we had a houseful of teenagers who like to walk to shopping, mini golf etc. We rented a golf cart, bikes and the cabana service for the week so the distance wasn't an issue at all for any of us. I would say this is a better house for people not traveling with a ton of teens however, as the first floor room with the pool table was on the smaller side with no seating. Our kids ended up on the pool deck at night due to lack of "hang out" space, and I was constantly worried about them being too loud for the neighbors. Fortunately for us, the house behind us had a wild crew so it wasn't an issue. Day 1 we realized there was no gas for the outdoor grill and Twiddy had another tank there in time for dinner which was great! Overall a great experience and probably the cleanest rental we've ever had in the OBX. Thanks Twiddy!"
