Inside, the home is designed for time together without feeling crowded. The great room offers an inviting place to gather, take in ocean views, play a game, or settle in for a movie. The adjoining living area provides another comfortable spot to relax, while the well-equipped kitchen makes everything from breakfast before a beach day to dinner for the whole family easy. Gather around the dining area for meals, then linger over conversation as the day winds down. For a quieter escape, head to the ship’s watch to enjoy the views or settle in with a book, while the den gives kids or adults a separate space for games, puzzles, or downtime.
Outside, the private pool and hot tub make staying home just as appealing as heading to the beach. Kids can spend the afternoon splashing in the pool while adults relax nearby. Everyone can regroup at the house after a day on the sand, and the hot tub is an ideal place to unwind beneath the stars.

At the northern end of Highway 12, where the pavement ends and the sand begins, the 4x4 beaches are one of the most remote and unspoiled stretches of the Outer Banks — home to wild Colonial Spanish Mustangs and miles of undeveloped coastline.

On the north side of the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge, there is plenty of wide open space separating the communities of Swan Beach and North Swan Beach. Specifically referred to as “North Swan Beach”, this portion of the 4x4 Beaches is situated just south of Carova Beach and approximately 3 ½ to 4 miles north of the beach access ramp.
