Outta the Blue
Where the road ends and the adventure begins. Pack up the family, air down your tires, and leave the ordinary behind as you make your way to Outta the Blue, a stunning oceanfront escape nestled on the remote beaches of Carova. Here, there are no paved roads, no traffic lights, and no crowded beaches—just miles of sand, salty breezes, wild horses, and the soothing rhythm of the Atlantic Ocean. Built in 2025, this five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath oceanfront retreat was designed for gathering, relaxing, and making the kind of memories you'll talk about long after your tan has faded.
Start each morning with a front-row seat to one of nature's greatest shows. From the top-floor ensuite, watch the sun rise directly over the ocean without ever leaving your bed. Step into the luxurious ensuite bath, where a rain shower and panoramic ocean views make even getting ready for the day feel like a vacation. The top floor also features a bright, open-concept living space where the ocean steals the spotlight from every window. Sip your morning coffee on the deck while dolphins play offshore and pelicans glide across the waves.
Downstairs, four additional ensuite bedrooms each offer private bathrooms, giving everyone their own comfortable retreat after a day of sun and surf. Three bedrooms provide direct deck access, and two offer beautiful ocean views. A comfortable den equipped with an 86-inch television, games, puzzles, and books provides the perfect gathering spot for family movie nights, rainy-day puzzles, board games, or simply relaxing after a day at the beach. Outside is where the real fun begins.
Spend your days splashing in the private pool, shooting hoops with the poolside basketball goal, serving up a friendly volleyball match, or soaking in the hot tub while gazing out at the ocean. The covered entertainment area was made for laughter and late-night storytelling. Challenge your crew to a game of pool or cornhole, gather around in the comfortable seating area, and let the soundtrack of crashing waves carry you into vacation mode. An elevator makes unloading luggage and groceries effortless, because vacations should start the moment you arrive.
New for 2027: Pet Friendly! Your four-legged family member deserves a beach vacation too. Beginning in 2027, Outta the Blue welcomes your well-behaved dog and features a dedicated fenced dog run where your furry friend can safely stretch their legs, play, and enjoy the salty air alongside the rest of the family.
And don't forget to keep an eye out for Carova's most famous residents—the majestic Corolla Wild Horses. These beautiful animals often wander through the area, providing unforgettable sightings right from your deck. Just remember to admire them from a respectful distance as they continue living wild and free.

Situated on the wonderfully unique 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach offers vacationing friends and families the opportunity to enjoy time together on the coast without the distractions of a bustling neighborhood environment. A four-wheel drive vehicle is needed to navigate the beaches where Carova Beach rental homes are located. The northern-most community of the 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach is approximately 8 miles from the beach access ramp and stretches north for about 3 miles to the Virginia border. While there are no roads, restaurants, or shops in Carova Beach, what you will find is a breathtakingly beautiful & vast shoreline, roaming wild horses and a positively ideal vacation environment.
