Begin each day of your vacation with a stunning Outer Banks sunrise at “First Light!” This gorgeous home in Southern Shores is located right on the oceanfront. Listening to the sound of the rolling waves and watching for dolphins will be on your vacation agenda.
Upon arriving at the home, there is an elevator that goes from the ground level to the second floor to assist with unpacking luggage and unloading groceries. The great room on the top level of the home is the main living area, and offers fantastic ocean views throughout. Relax in the living area and enjoy spending time with loved ones. A gas fireplace is available for use during cooler months of the year. The nearby kitchen is fully stocked with all equipment needed to prepare meals for the duration of your stay. Two dishwashers make cleanup a breeze. You have a choice of sitting together at the dining table or the barstools at the kitchen counter. Step out onto the oceanfront deck to enjoy morning coffee or an afternoon beverage with a salty ocean breeze. There are three master bedrooms on the top level, each with a private bathroom. There is also a half bathroom on the upper floor of the home.
The lower level was designed with entertainment in mind. There is a rec room with a pool table, for endless hours of fun. A wet bar with dishwasher is also available in the rec room to keep cold drinks and snacks handy. Screen the latest movies in your own personal theatre room. There are four master bedrooms on the second floor, each with a private bathroom. A half bathroom and laundry room can also be found on this level.
Step outside for some fun in the sun. Make a big splash in the private pool. Enjoy a restorative soak in the hot tub. Grab your beach chairs and walk from the home to the beach via the connecting beach walkway. An OBX vacation at “First Light” is sure to be the highlight of your family’s year!

"Beautiful home and decorations! Only suggestions : We had a bit of time to figure out all the electronics and the house speakers. Suggest a laminated direction to the many wonderful options. Same on elevator (we did not use). We had several people come up the beach walk way stairs since the public one is right next to the house. Suggest a "private access" sign. Finally, we did not know the house had beach chairs, but they were wonderful (maybe a note on that :) Very well done and thought of home. Congrats!"
