Vacation Home Rental Fees
Charges and Fees
These are the normal charges associated with a typical reservation. Fees are subject to change without notice. Please contact us for more information regarding any of the fees listed on your reservation.
Rent
The rent is the weekly rate advertised for each vacation home. The first half of the rent is due on the initial balance due date, 48 hours after booking. The second half of the rent is due on the final balance due date, 30 days prior to arrival. The full rent is due at the time of booking for reservations booked within 30 days of arrival.
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is offered on all lease agreements (coverage is available to U.S. residents only). The Guest Protect Plan by Generali Global Assistance may cover your pre-paid non-refundable trip expenses; for additional information regarding coverage and benefits, please visit our travel insurance page. Travel Insurance is optional and can be declined on the lease agreement. If accepted, Travel Insurance is due with the initial payment. Coverage does not begin until the travel insurance amount has been paid in full.
Home Service Fee
The Home Service Fee is a nominal cleaning charge that is added to your reservation. Fee amounts vary per house.
State & County Taxes
State and county taxes apply to rent and any additional fees and services excluding Travel Insurance.
Early Check-in Fee
There are a limited number of 1:00 pm check-ins available on a first come, first served basis for a nominal fee. We cannot offer this service for certain homes, including those with seven or more bedrooms or homes occupied by owners the preceding week. Requests for early check-in must be made and paid for in advance of arrival.
The fee applies whether or not you arrive by the designated time. Services such as pool and hot tub cleaning may not be completed prior to 1:00 pm; guests should anticipate service personnel arriving throughout the afternoon and early evening. Please contact our office to confirm availability and arrange for early check-in to be added to your reservation.
Advance Property Hold Fee
The fee for an Advance Property Hold for the following year is currently $50.00 for a majority of our homes. This fee is non-refundable and is not applied to the rental fee, but holds the home off the market until the lease is sent, which is typically in the Fall. At that time, the initial payment is required to confirm the reservation. The $50.00 Advance Property Hold Fee may be transferable to another reservation should you wish to change homes prior to executing the Lease.
Select homes have a fee higher than $50.00. This fee amount varies per home and is listed in the home's description. This fee is non-refundable, non-transferable and holds the home off the market until the lease is sent. At that time, the initial payment is required to confirm the reservation. A portion of the Advance Property Hold fee over $50.00 is applied to the rental fee.

Heated Pool Fee
Fees for heated pools are either fixed (plus tax) or included in the rent. The heated pool fee can be found in the amenities list on each home’s property page. Requests for this optional amenity must be confirmed and paid for prior to arrival. This service cannot be requested at check-in or during your stay for a prorated amount. No refunds will be issued if a guest decides they would like this amenity turned off during their stay.
