Mallard is a quiet street, and SeaWalk is only a few steps from the beach access. It's a little taller than its neighbors too, and this week I actually watched dolphins from the top floor's deck without binoculars."

A quiet street with lots of mailboxes (year-rounders?), just a step to the beach, vast decks with good furniture and great views of the ocean, really nice screened porch (also with good furniture). Top of the line, sleep-inducing bedding. Nice kitchen. It's pretty, it's welcoming, it's comfortable. I love this house. This might be my 24th year in it."

"The location is ideal. The house works well for multi-generational families. Everyone wanted rest period time on the screen porch and the upper deck is just right for all times of day and evening. The beds are very comfortable and the family room area nicely laid out and furnished."

"Umpteenth stay at Seawalk. It feels like home. EVERYthing is comfortable. It's so easy to spend time outdoors as our group ages -- the huge upper deck, screened porch, sitting area in the front yard, ocean access only a few steps away, the sound a 4 or 5 minute (really!) stroll. Many houses in Wild Duck Dunes seem to be occupied by year-round owners rather than vacationers, resulting in a reliably uncrowded stretch of beach. Grandkids love it too!"

"I don't even know how many weeks we've spent at SeaWalk -- multiple times some years -- but we started in 1997 I think. Yeah, there's no hot tub or private pool, but we do not care! The comfort level is sky-high, and the ocean views spectacular. Two huge decks, screened porch, top-quality beds, kitchen with everything, VERY short walk to the beach; closet full of noodles, boogie boards, sand toys, umbrella, sand chairs. And if you need them, a portacrib, and some other baby stuff. Also games and puzzles, a card table, and some really GOOD books. Plus it's pretty! I've stayed in 8 or 10 other homes, in Duck and Kitty Hawk with other groups, but always come back to SeaWalk. Highly recommend!!"

"Sea Walk is a beautiful and relaxing home. Our family enjoyed our stay here. We loved the short walk to the beach and our favorite part of the house was the deck. The deck is large and sits perfectly to view the ocean. We will definitely stay at Sea Walk again."
