"We have been staying in Schooner Ridge for five years and by far this was our FAVORITE HOUSE! Our dog LOVED the bermuda grass and would just run outside and lay in it (no prickers!) and the color scheme, the amazing gas grill, the beautiful pool and hot tub, along with decor was top notch. New refrigerator, and lots of chairs to use for the beach. They really thought of everything. Donated a nice chopping block! :) Love, Love, Love this house. You can tell the owner's really take pride in it. Will be back next year!"
"We have stayed at this home for nine years and have book it again for next year. The home has new upgrades - like wooden floors, outside kitchen, updated appliances, new countertops and a porch fan. The surroundings are relaxing and comfortable. The amenities in the community add to the relaxation. There is a community center with pools (inside and outside), exercise equipment and a beach pool with and observation platform where listing to the surf can be so relaxing."

"Our 3rd time vacationing in Duck, 2nd with Twiddy. This house was in a good spot, and has a lot of potential. The walk to the beach is easy, and the amenities at Schooner Ridge were nice, even though we did not use any (except beach access). There were a lot of small things that need to be fixed (screen door, small cracks in walls, drywall damage, broken vinyl blind), the furniture was well used, but clean, the refrigerator&freezer are hanging on, but I wouldn't recommend trying to keep any icecream in the freezer. I did see that there were some 2022 Kitchen renovation plans in the guest book, so those issues I'm sure will be taken care of. Basically nothing that would stop you from having a great time in Outer Banks. The pool & hot tub area was well kept and having 2 outdoor showers was perfect for after the beach, and the storage area with the beach chairs to use was very nice. Everyone had a great time enjoying the great weather and location"
