"The layout of the home worked well. The dining table accommodates a large group comfortably. The separate loft space worked well for those who just wanted to relax. The kitchen is well stocked. The house is well taken care of."

"Home location is a 5, home amenities are a 5, bedrooms and bathrooms are 5 you have more than enough. Grounds around the home are a 3, they need a serious trimming and general clean-up. Inside of home needs a major updating so interior is also a 3. Fresh paint and floor refinishing are needed very soon. For the money paid you would expect a little more modernized fixtures. Now the one part that was a 1 was cleanliness, home had dust and bugs throughout the home with heavy dust under the beds. I believe the cleaning could be just a crew problem but the home would present better with a more substantial cleaning. Overall the home is a 4 you just can't beat the location, amenities or size and comfort. A good rehab with a serious cleaning makes the home a 5 but for now a 4 is as good as it can be."
"Harry's Dream was a beautiful home, the scenery/location is perfect. The home itself needs some updating/upkeep. The pool area could be cleaned up and weeded, the outside area is small but would benefit from a little pick me up. The kitchen table needs to be sanded and re-stained/poly, as it is pretty sticky to eat at. The view from the dining room is amazing, the beautiful wrapped deck is perfect for sunrise/sunsets. The blankets that are provided in the bedrooms had holes in them, thankfully I grabbed a new one at Walmart. Overall I will be booking for 2022 because Duck, NC has become a home away from home, but I would like to see some updates and better upkeep on the outside of the home."
"The home has easy, direct access to the beach. It has a good floor plan with nicely appointed bedrooms and very functional common areas. The living room has updated furniture. The deck had plenty of seating for a large group. Schooner Ridge can’t be beat for easy access to the shops and boardwalk. Areas for improvement are fresh paint in the main living areas as it’s beat up, the dining table surface is deteriorating, the cover on the hot tub is torn."
