"Living room area was very nice. The ice maker did not work, but we used tray's. Also, the AC did not work after arriving last Sunday. We were very pleased with how quickly the Twiddy Team responded with window units while the HVAC contractor found the problem, this made our visit very enjoyable. The owner decorated very nice in every room. I would like to explore other rentals along Skimmer Way, the location is great. Our family members have houses in close by, which our stay very nice. In addition, the use of the Sanderling pool enjoyable. I wille need 3 baths and 4 bedrooms as close to the water, but still reasonable. Over all we were pleased. Don Schappell"

We are very sorry that the HVAC malfunctioned during your stay - the system is only a few years old and we were surprised (and concerned) that it failed, but appreciate that Twiddy responded so quickly w window units to keep you comfortable. We also very much appreciate your understanding. Its an owner's nightmare when something like this occurs. Twiddy is truly the best at correcting these types of situations !

"It was so cute! Cleaner than any home I’ve rented at OBX in 30 years. Perfect location. Plenty of beach chairs and bikes! Such a nice, quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The walk to the beach was easy and you can hear the ocean from the decks. We had a great week. We will be back!"

"It was exactly as it looked in the pictures except for the dining room chairs. I liked that they provided games and books at the home. They provided beach chairs and bikes to ride. It allowed us to bring less and still enjoy what we normally do at the beach."

"Great home and location. The pool is about 1.4 miles north on the left. Tennis is $25/ hour fee. The beach access has steps up and down which makes for somewhat difficult hauling stuff to beach. House was very clean and well stocked. TV receives restricted channels. House did include bikes, many sand toys and chairs. Washer and dryer are on ground level not in the house. Plenty of water pressure and hot water. Nice pond to walk around in back of home. Fishing was great in front of beach access we caught countless whiting a few spot and one 22 inch red drum low tide was best with fish bites as bait using smaller hooks and small pieces of bait. Easy bike ride into town. You do have bay access at the pier where pool is located. Great for paddle boarding or kayak launch. Recommend bringing your own inflatables and save a ton of $$$. Lots of wildlife to see on Duck boardwalk. Must eat at Collington Cafe. Have a good one> God bless."

"The Celtic Craic was an amazingly clean and comfortable home to spend our vacation in. Everything was well maintained and exceptionally clean. We immediately felt relaxed and right at home. The house was very well equipped with beach chairs, beach toys, bikes, linens, and appliances. Without any doubt we would stay at the Celtic Craic again!!"

"We love this area of OBX and have been staying in this community for the last 6 out of 8 years we have started vacationing at OBX. This is our first year at this house and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 and could have fit more comfortably. The house was clean and nicely updated and my kids loved the deck, hammock and the bonus beach toys in the laundry room. The house is located close to the beach and we have always found the residents and vacationers very nice! We can’t say enough about how fun this house and our vacation was!!"
