"The view! Kitchen had everything! Beds were comfortable. I know people like the rain shower head and you can turn the head so the water comes out in the middle but someone like me with a lot of thick hair it takes forever to rinse with that shower head. Maybe one bathroom could have a different one. This is our 3rd time @ Decoy and we have enjoyed it every time."

"Love Decoy. We enjoyed the cottage for 18 visits with never more than 5 in the house for the week. Well equipped kitchen, good beds and baths. Very comfortable beach house. We enjoyed using the beach when we could get to it easily—no longer possible to do easily. After all the years, we have decided the stairs are becoming more difficult and the trek to the beach isn’t fun any longer. So regretfully, I think our years at Decoy are over."
"The view of the ocean was fantastic! The ease of access to the beach was great. The kitchen was very well stocked with many of the tools that we normally have at home. We loved the keyless entry - no need to keep track of a key! There were also many sand toys and extra chairs for the beach. The many chairs on the decks and ground level were fantastic. We really loved our family vacation at Decoy."
"Classic beach home “feel”. Nicely designed and equipped kitchen. Excellent view of the beach with easy access (but a little bit of a climb coming back!). Nice decks with comfortable Adirondack chairs. Choice of gas and charcoal grills. B-ball hoop on the driveway. Being on the north side of Duck, good access to both Duck and Corolla. First time staying at Decoy but our favorite of the 3 Twiddy homes we have stayed in."

"I love the beach so being oceanfront, watching pelicans and dolphins, sitting on the sand, going into the water is my version of heaven on earth. The price is lower (I do not need a pool, pool table, ping pong, or tv in my bedroom). It’s hidden. It is quiet. It’s true vacation. Room for relatives, place for games and meals. Perfect."
"Decoy’s oceanfront location is superb. Property was clean,cozy, and well organized. The kitchen is especially well organized and wonderfully equipped. The kitchen and the bathrooms are updated (btw, the sink in the upstairs bathroom does not hold the water). We especially liked that the decks provide seating on three sides. This was our second time staying in Decoy and will probably rent it again."
