"Very spacious home for our extended family of 16. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of seating in the dining area and living spaces. The downstairs recreation area was a great place for teens in the family to socialize. Pool was lovely and hot tub perfect!"

"It is a lovely home, well suited to our family with lots of kids. We enjoyed having the porch with tables for the kids to eat, so the adults could enjoy the dining table. We loved having two dishwashers and a well equipped kitchen. The downstairs room provided a good getaway for those looking for a quiet place. Small problems were quickly taking care of by the Twiddy staff. We plan to be back next year."

"Upon arrival the house was very clean and cool. There was plenty of space for 10 adults and 2 small children with room to spare. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom plus there were common bathrooms to share. The open floor plan on the main floor (3rd floor) made it convenient to always be together. The large dining room table was great for playing games. Two dishwashers allowed us to keep the kitchen clean at all times. Was thankful there was a second refrigerator as well! The location of the home was perfect too; close enough to the beach and the shops to walk but we enjoyed riding our bikes too. Would highly recommend driving to see the sand dunes at Jockeys Ridge and take some kites along! Also a drive on the beach in Corolla was a fun experience but we didn't see any wild horses. Coffee shops and Duck doughnuts were close by. Wee Winks had all the groceries we needed and was so close we could walk or ride bike. This was a wonderful vacation and hope to do it again some time!"

"This was our first trip to Duck NC and it was amazing! The home was absolutely perfect. Everything was clean which is always my # 1 worry, Spacious enough for 4 families, the pool was perfect and they came and cleaned it while we were there, and it was walking distance to the beach and shops! Definitely follow the owners directions and tips with how to keeps spiders and bugs away because they are plentiful down there. We will definitely be back!"

"We had twelve people with us and we didn’t even feel like we were in top of each other. It was absolutely PERFECT! The house was extremely clean, very nicely decorated, and walking distance to everything! We did not need our vehicles for anything except going to Food Lion for stuff for the week. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit and the pool table was the kids favorite thing. They also had board games the kids played at night before bed. Sweet T’s is an adorable shop to get drinks or coffee. They have live music in different areas that are kid friendly. Our family created memories that will let us a lifetime. This vacation we can all say we did not want to leave. You will not be disappointed in The Dancing Duck if you stay there. Highly recommended!!! We will be back for sure."

"This house is very spacious and well laid out. We had four families, thirteen people, in our group and the second floor had plenty of space for our two families of four with room to spare. The other five people stayed on the upper floor. We didn’t even need the sleep sofa on the lower level. The main living areas easily accommodated us all. Everyone enjoyed the private pool very much and the owners have a nice supply of pool toys available. The kitchen was well-equipped, too. The walk to the beach is a bit far for young kids, but it’s doable with strollers or a wagon and there’s also a bike rack. Parking is very limited by the beach access. It’s a short walk to shops and the boardwalk by the sound, in the other direction, which was very convenient. We had a great time and were very pleased with the Dancing Duck and highly recommend it!"

"The Dancing Duck is a wonderful home and we thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay. The home was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and very inviting. The location and proximity to Duck is perfect. We walked everywhere and only moved the car once! Although there were only two of us, the floor plan of the home would be great for several couples with children. The screened porch was nice for rainy days! Check in was a breeze, as it always is with Twiddy! Thank you for an enjoyable and relaxing "change of scenery" we look forward to returning!"
