"The layout of the house is fantastic. Very comfortable beds and well appointed bathrooms with each bedroom. Plenty of plates, glasses, silverware, etc in the kitchen. Two ice makers a real plus and two drink fridges. Closeness to beach access! Quiet street. Overall location on the island."

"Last Run lived up to every good review I read prior to renting. The cottage is beautiful inside and out. It is well maintained and stocked. The decor appears to be professionally done. The bed I slept in had the best mattress of any place I ever stayed. The location in Duck is ideal."

"The layout of the home is great with extra features like coffee bar, big walk-in pantry, bar area and the wide open area of the living space, decks that show some ocean view and sounds of the ocean-my favorite, great pool with shelf-shallow area for younger kids like my granddaughter. Have to admit the number of King beds is also a big draw to this home. The wonderful built bunk beds in the kids room are so sturdy! Lighted stairs is a great feature-but not working any longer. Just a beautifully designed and decorated home! We have returned 3 years in a row and for two weeks this year 2024. Much thanks to the owners and a son that designed a beautiful home!"
"Great layout. Well decorated and furnished. Pool and hot tub were perfect for the children. Bar area a great place to raise a glass. Downstairs shuffleboard and video game a big hit. Absolute beautiful home incredibly stocked with anything you need from kitchen to bar to dual ice machines and dishwashers. Short walk to beach access."

"EVERYTHING! The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen in our 33 years of vacationing in the OBX. The ice maker was terrific! (There are 2 of them) The beds were so comfy, the bathrooms were wonderful and the furnishings were great. We loved the bar area. Great TVs everywhere with simple remotes. No stress having to figure that out! The pool area was great too!! Fantastic layout and solid construction. Kudos to the owners for thinking of everything!"

"It is rare that pictures accurately portray a home’s beauty. However, for this home, the pictures did not do it justice. The actual home was more attractive than the pictures. Attention to details, such as dishes, silverware and serving pieces were top notch. A truly spectacular home."

"We love the space that the home affords us to interact as a family. The accessibility of an elevator allows us to get from the upper levels down to the ground level. We miss the enclosed outdoor shower as it is lovely to be able to wash off sand and feel refreshed in the outdoor air."
