"The House was clean. That was so important to us after two previous years (with other rental companies) of absolutely filthy houses. The proximity to the Beach was awesome. We love the Ocean Crest subdivision and except for two years in Nags Head and one year in Corolla have stayed on that street almost exclusively for the past 15 years. Pool was great too. Nice that the owners left sand chairs and beach toys as well."

"Permanent Vacation was the perfect location to the beach, shoppes and restaurants. The house is wonderfully furnished, and the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. You name it they had it. Slept with the sliding glass door open at night listening to the crashing waves. It was spectacular!! Our x-large dogs enjoyed being at the beach and this dog friendly home. Our son, daughter in law and their friends joined us later in the week. We had plenty of room for all 11 of us. They enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and corn hole boards (located on the property). Just wished the pool had been heated. It was definitely too cold. But would definitely stay again at this home. We had a couple of minor issues in the home when arriving on Sunday. I can say without a doubt Twiddy handled them promptly. Great house and Great Location (two houses from beach entrance). Location, Location......Great Stay!!!"
"This was our second year staying at this house and we still love it. It’s been well maintained and was clean when we checked-in. Location is great (a few minute drive to the downtown part of Duck or a 20 minute walk). It’s a nice and quiet neighborhood as well and easy access to the beach. We enjoyed it so much that we have reserved it again for next year!"
