"The home was in a great spot. It was easy to ride bikes, drive, walk to the area shops and restaurants. The walk to the beach was a breeze, as well. We enjoyed the porches as we could always find shade and a breeze at some point during the day. The layout of the home was perfect for our family of thirteen. The adults and teens/young adults had their own spaces/bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the pots and pans were new. We made sure to hand-wash all of them after use in order to preserve their quality. The surfaces were clean and the carpet seemed new. The outside could use a pressure washing, but my house could benefit from the same! We would certainly stay here again in the future if we return to Duck."

"Loved the layout of this house and how thoughtful the owners were in their choices. There’s a cabinet full of games, a closet of toys, baby gates and LOVE that the pool is fully separately fenced from the house with a hard for kids to open gate. The decor was beautiful and not the usual tacky beach house decor. Walking distance to beach and playground, with your own pool you really don’t want for anything. Each bedroom having its own bathroom is so nice when staying with multiple families. I’ve stayed in several beach houses now and this has been the best. TVs in nearly every room ready to easily login to Netflix, Amazon prime and several other services. Hoping the owners replace the decks in the near future and maybe some kitchen appliance and utensil improvements in the future but they were good enough in current state."

This year was such a pleasant surprise as the owners have done several substantial updates inside AND outside to make it over-the-top outstanding. So much space, close to the beach, as well as shopping/dining/fishing tackle shop, the hot tub is a highlight, the pool is well kept, just so much to appreciate here! "Our family really enjoyed staying in this home. The upgrades that were done improved the house. We loved the pool but would like to have a place for some shade, table with umbrella. A couple of the switches were bad, The light outside by the pool kept going off and the light switch in the lower level bunk bed room did not work properly. We would definitely stay at this home again."
