Sun, sun, sun, here it comes! The location of this home is amazing with easy access to the beach, town of Duck, and directly across the street from the Four Seasons Community Clubhouse. Your family and friends will love this bright and airy PET FRIENDLY coastal retreat. The outdoor areas were designed with relaxation and entertainment in mind. Jump in the optionally heated saltwater pool for a swim, or bask in the sunshine poolside. Unwind and soak your cares away in the hot tub. The outdoor cooking area is a grill master’s dream, complete with seating for anyone wanting to enjoy a freshly grilled meal. A variety of outdoor seating options on the decks offer many opportunities to relax with a refreshment. Challenge the family to a friendly game of volleyball.
The interior of the home is bursting with sunshine. Relax in the great room or prepare a meal in the well-appointed kitchen. Four master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, one bedroom with a semi-private bath, and two bedrooms with a shared bathroom ensure that everyone has their own space. Chill out and watch a movie on any of the multiple TVs, or play a game of pool. The kitchenette with microwave and full-size refrigerator guarantee that snacks and drinks are within reach. Ideally located walking distance to Duck Village, in the amenity-packed Four Seasons community with an indoor pool, outdoor pool, fitness center, ping pong, basketball court, pickleball courts, tennis courts, playground and trolley pick up and drop off are directly across the street (available during the summer). You may not need your car the rest of the week! Walk to town for boutique shopping, live music, or an unforgettable meal. Here comes the sun, and I say it’s all right!

"What an absolutely incredible stay at Here Comes the Sun II. Here are some of the things we loved - 1.) We've been coming to the OBX for decades and have stayed in dozens of different houses. Never have we had such attentive and communicative owners as Josh and Heidi. They were so kind, thoughtful, and responsive. 2.) The home is beautiful and super functional for a rental property. In the kitchen alone, we had access to a Keurig, a ton of tupperware options, and a spice cabinet. Great bonuses for a vacation home. The rooms were great and had a lot of different options, from bunks to twin beds to kings, etc. A little something for everyone in our crew. 3.) The pool provided a lot of family fun and was a nice outlet for the kids to get out their energy without spending all our time on the beach. 4.) The location! We love staying at the Four Seasons for its amenities (community pools indoor and out, playground, easy beach access, etc.). It's also within walking distance of the Duck Town Boardwalk and some of our favorite shops and restaurants. It's a safe and connected community which felt great, especially when traveling with family. If you're thinking of booking, don't delay. We'll definitely be back for another stay!"

"We loved being so close to everything. The house is centrally located to so many things. We had everything we needed and then some. The new dining room table is absolutely beautiful and the whole house felt so spacious. Our family keeps growing and is so nice to stay in a house that allows us all to be together without feeling like we are tripping over each other. We had so much fun playing volley ball in the yard and swimming in the salt water pool. We can’t wait to do it all again. "I have stayed in several places on OBX, but usually on the beach. This property was in a great location to travel to the Kitty Hawk area without terrible traffic on check in days. It was a 2 minute walk to downtown Duck which is always where the bottleneck is. We had to do something that we had not done before...take a dog. It is always more limited to what you are going to find when doing that. I will have to say I saw no signs of there being pets allowed on this property. It was clean and well appointed. We had very unusually cool weather, so the pool being at 85 degrees and working well was a real plus. I must say the the owners Josh and Heidi were the biggest difference maker. Never have I had someone send us a nice gift long before we even stayed. Then a starbucks card after. In the middle...immediately responsive to any questions or needs. These guys got it right on customer service which is a thing of the past. Great job Josh and Heidi!"

"The house is great for a group. The main level was perfect for our dinners and young children. The heated pool was a huge plus for the kids as well. The pool table, corn hole, and volleyball net kept us busy if we did not go to the beach or pool. We would definitely rent again from this house. The owners are also exceptional and provided great guidance of the area of Duck, which was awesome since none of us had been there before. Thank you!"
We are delighted that you and your family had a terrific stay. We added the heated pool feature this year. Having the pool water heated to 85 degrees definitely makes swimming in the Spring and Fall much more enjoyable. Hope to have your family stay again in the future.

The beach and community pool were an easy walk or drive with plenty of parking right at the beach access. The homeowners and Twiddy made our stay easy and we highly recommend this home!"

"This home was amazing! Perfect for any family. Fully appointed, spotlessly clean, wonderful owners. They communicated with us through the entire process and clearly want to be sure every guest who stays in their home has a truly wonderful experience. We wanted for nothing. "This was our eighth stay in a Twiddy home, and it was by far our favorite! Its convenient location is perfect for a short stroll to the beach or for walking to the shops, restaurants, and boardwalk in Duck. It is evident that the owners are very conscientious, and their care, upkeep, and attention to detail made our stay in Here Comes the Sun thoroughly enjoyable. The recent upgrades made the house feel fresh and comfortable. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the home, the organized and well-equipped kitchen, and the comfortable beds. Though the weather was cool, the new pool heater made it possible for my daughters to swim, and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Plus there is a lovely grilling area out back with plenty of room to set out food and dine al fresco! The owners sent a helpful welcome packet with great information about the house as well as dining and shopping recommendations, and they were available prior to and during our stay in case we had any questions. Overall, a 10 out of 10!"
