"We received a “Carolina Blessing! What a wonderful visit with our family! Multi-generational vacations are not always easy, but this Twiddy Rental made it a breeze! Something to do with the “hilltop” location, giving us ocean air blowing through our open windows, easy “nature walks” to down town Duck, and a skip to the beach? Ages four years to high sixties enjoyed the options offered by this home. Want to be outside? Room to run and tumble on the lush, green, (gymnast approved) lawn, chill in the hot-tub (Not an oxymoron!), learn to swim (literally!) in the heated saltwater pool, or play ping-pong on the covered pool side deck! Rather be inside? The game room was perfect for all “us kids”! Entertained and engaged playing skee-ball, arcade games, and learning to play pool! Puzzles, board games, books, or lounging with TV, snacks and something from the frig. Easy to be unplugged, or plugged in. The third-floor loft, and beautiful great room are flexible and comfortable...read, sketch, movie night…or nap. Fixing meals and snacks was a treat, because the Kitchen(s) and dining space(s) were spacious, spotless and well appointed. If these kitchens don’t have the tool, you don’t need it! We didn’t have to leave the house to have cocktails or meal seating with a view! Bed time was no argument…each bedroom was restful and comfortable, easy to unpack and feel settled in. A few of the bathrooms must have been newly renovated - so beautifully designed - but all of them were roomy and fresh…form met function! I should probably keep this Carolina Blessing a secret, but that would be selfish, and “we may never pass this way agin” (though we sure hope to!) This lovely vacation home gave our family the joy of togetherness and space, at the same time!"

"We've been in this home for years and love the size and proximity to the beach. Plenty of upgrades over the past several of years (TVs, bedroom furniture, kitchen appliances. Ski-Ball, porch furniture) have made it even better. This year we were able to get into the house around 1pm which was greatly appreciated since we typically get on the island by noon and typically have to wait for hours. Also, appreciate the yummy pies that the owner brought on Sunday. Made for delicious snack / desert through the week."

"Carolina Blessing is a stunningly beautiful 10 bedroom beach home. The salt water heated pool and hot tub make this home complete. The beds are very comfortable and the home is immaculate. The kitchen is very well equipped. The house has multiple decks where we enjoyed the sea breeze. It even has a nursery and a handicapped room. It’s a very short walk to the beach. We loved our stay there!!"

"Carolina Blessing is perfectly named! My husband and I loved waking up to the sunrise and falling asleep to the sound of waves. Carolina Blessing is immaculately maintained and luxuriously appointed, it gave us so many options for comfort no matter the weather! We loved the hot tub under the stars and skee ball and pool in the game room made us feel like kids again! One chilly evening curled up by the fire place, hearing the wind and waves…knowing the wine frig was steps away was such a treat! I claimed the “look out” at the third floor landing as my “artist loft”! When we arrived we enjoyed the Four Seasons walking path! Box turtles, birds and geckos, oh my! Felt like a secret, just steps from the house to town and the beach! We look forward to sharing this Carolina Blessing with our family next year! Two outside showers, two spotless grills, and more kitchen and seating then I can describe! We love this Carolina Blessing!"

"It’s challenging to find a home that suits all of our needs and this home did it. The proximity to the beach was great, my brother LOVED the professional stove and the room with the nursery was another selling point for us. Our ages ranged from 70 to 9 months and everyone was happy."

"Great home in a great location. A large function had taken place a day before we arrived but home was in pretty good order. A call for fixing some things took 5 days so you should keep that in mind. That said, we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the house -- even though we barely filled half of it. Sunrises and sunsets were fabulous and it's wonderful to be able to walk on beach by simply going across the street. We had great weather but the house has enough space to keep everyone happy should you not be as fortunate."

"Amazing home! The physical layout is great for our large family. The kitchen’s 3 dishwashers and multiple refrigerators and ice maker make life so easy! The kitchen is well stocked! The nursery room has been so helpful for the young parents. The video game arcade in the basement is a hit with all ages. The pool and baby pool are awesome my family spends a lot of time there. And double outdoor showers and beach item storage make beach trips easy. We love the fact it is so close to the beach and we can enjoy seeing the ocean, fireworks, kites, and the 4th of July parade from the deck. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this house is. We will definitely be back!"
