Put some “Kiwi Magic” into your Outer Banks vacation at this recently constructed oceanfront retreat! Located on a quiet street in the heart of the town of Duck, this home features stunning ocean views and modern amenities. The cozy, yet spacious, interior was designed to let in as much natural light as possible. Step out onto one of the many decks to feel the ocean breeze and listen to the waves lap the shoreline. Take a short stroll down the street to take advantage of all that Duck Village has to offer.
On the top level, the wall of windows in the great room allows maximum opportunities to enjoy the view of the ocean. Step out onto the partially-covered oceanfront deck for 180-degree views of the horizon. Enjoy breakfast at the dining table under the covered portion of the deck with a backdrop of the beautiful Outer Banks sunrise. The great room was truly designed for gathering, with multiple seating options, and a high-quality, 75-inch Samsung QLED QF8 TV. The entire home features a sophisticated sound system with zones controllable by a phone app. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, with a double oven, gas cooktop, large refrigerator, beverage cooler, microwave, and two dishwashers. Two islands and two deep sinks make meal preparation and clean up a breeze. Unloading groceries is made easier by the quiet, eco-friendly elevator that is raised by hydraulics and lowered by gravity. The elevator serves all three floors of the home, as well as the carport. There’s room for everyone to enjoy meals together at the spacious dining table, and there’s plenty of bar seating around the kitchen island. A loft off of the great room offers a quiet place to read or put a puzzle together. The top level is completed by a master bedroom, with its own private bathroom and deck, and a half bathroom.
The middle level of the home consists of four master bedrooms, a sitting area with a wet bar, a private office/study, and laundry facilities. Each of the master bedrooms has a private bathroom. After a long day outdoors, step out onto the covered deck to enjoy a restorative soak in the hot tub. The middle-level deck also features a walkway that leads directly to the beach.
The lower level of the home was designed with fun and entertainment in mind. The game room features a pool table and a second 75-inch Samsung QLED QF8 TV. A wet bar with refrigerator and ice machine keep snacks and cold drinks nearby. A master bedroom, with a private bathroom, and a half bathroom complete the lower level. Walk outside to the pool area, which gives the feel of a private resort, to choose from multiple seating options in the sun or in the shade. Grill out and enjoy a meal poolside as the gas grill is located nearby.
Along with the elevator, other eco-friendly features found in the home include an electric car charging station in the garage, tankless water heating, all LED lighting, low flow toilets, heavy insulation, and sleek DC-Motor ceiling fans that are silent and use little power. Each bedroom in the home has a 40-inch TV, and there is a Netflix account for the home. Many of the TVs in the home include outlets for game players. Be sure to pack your binoculars, as Duck is a birdwatcher’s paradise all year long. “Kiwi Magic” is sure to make your OBX vacation special, no matter which time of year you choose to visit!

Outside seating both upstairs and down made it easy to just escape for a few minutes to enjoy the views. This house was thought about when built. It allows the family areas to show off the view instead of one particular bedroom being the place for a view. I will be renting for next October"
"It's large but very home like and comfortable, each day is a relaxing delight, to stay in or on the deck watching the ocean, or going out to one of the many different local attractions. The home features we love the most are the elevator, the large kitchen/dining area/living room with wall to wall windows for ocean watching. Bedrooms are very roomy, each with a TV. "We stay at Kiwi Magic every year. The house has everything you need, the elevator helps my mom get up and down the steps. Without it, she wouldn't be able to come with us. She also loves the second floor flat walk out to the beach. The kitchen has all of the major appliances and the addition of the Keurig really helps early morning coffee fixes. The views are amazing with the sunrise and sunsets. Our only suggestion is to upgrade the furniture in the main living room as it has worn a bit over the years, especially the swivel chairs. And Mother Nature made it a little more difficult to get to the beach with the sand covering the steps but that was with every beach house there in our section."

"We have been renting OBX homes for over ten years and Kiwi Magic stands out for its thoughtful design and well-equipped amenities. Every floor feels roomy and open. Every bedroom has an ensuite bath, the kitchen is large and smartly laid out for multiple cooks to work while other can still relax at the counter bar. Glasses, plates, silverware, pots, pans, etc. all in great abundance and in great shape. Incredible ocean views from many of the rooms, beautiful light-filled mornings on the main floor, roomy decks and plenty of seating both covered and open. Apparently Kiwi Magic had a full renovation around 2018 and it still feels brand new, the perfect setting for a perfect vacation."
