"This was our 2nd year renting Island Breeze - our first was in 2023. The owner had made some nice upgrades… new floors, new concrete around the pool, tvs, new furniture in some rooms. The house is a short distance to the beach. Outside shower is spacious. And dog friendly is always a plus! We had an issue with the WiFi/internet, but communication was quick with Twiddy and was resolved within 24 hrs. We hope to rent again in 2 years when we return to OBX."

"You certainly can't beat the proximity to not only the beach but to the shops. Everything is really close by. We normally would stay at a house on the other side of the Duck Fire Station, but I think this house and location has spoiled us now! The house was tidy, clean, everything functioned well. Pool in good order and cleaned often. Wished the backyard had a gas grill but we made do and used the the two charcoal grills. There were three functional bicycles that came in handy (and saved us money) that we used to go back and forth to former Tommy's Market for sandwiches or to Duck Cottage for coffee. Ice machine on the lower level was hand and convenient. We had fun playing pool and foosball with the kids."
"The house is spacious with room for everyone to do as they please. Such an easy walk to the beach as it is located so close to the beach. Also easy access to the town of Duck and the nice shops there."

"Great location! Walked to the beach everyday. Used the pool and we went first two weeks of September and did not need to use the heater.. The fact that the bedrooms have their own bathrooms is great when you have a lot of people. We have 2 dogs and the fenced in yard is awesome. They just built a new playground for the kiddos. Yes, the home could use some improvements but overall I would recommend this home."

"Our stay at Island Breeze was very nice. The house was comfortable, updated, well equipped and in a great location to the beach. Loved the quiet street yet so close to beach access. The pool area is a great place to spend time. We were given that location option at the last minute, when our other house contract was cancelled by owners, which was wheelchair accessible, due to covid issues. Twiddy did a wonderful job in finding this house for us at the last minute. Our only amenity that we lost was the wheelchair accessibility. It would have been nice if one of the sliding glass doors were a little bigger to accommodate a wheelchair. I highly recommend this house for vacation!"
