"The beach access was directly across the street. Also, the pool was the perfect size for our group. We were happy with the size of the living room and the furniture was very comfortable. The two dishwashers was a bonus."

"We loved the outdoor furniture all around the house. The pool area is really sweet. We had young children and the alarms on the doors to the pool were really appreciated. The mattresses on the bunk beds were all a bit worn and not much support. We needed those rooms for adults, too, and they really were not all that comfortable. The house has a good layout and accommodated 2 extended families quite well. The pots, pans and glassware was very adequate for our group. Loved that the plates were Corelleware and they were easy to use and stack in the dishwasher. Also loved the plastic plates for kids and for lunch. Nice kitchen to live in for the week! Unfortunately the public access was not functionable the week we were there. We were lucky the people across the street invited us to use their access to the beach. Its a great house to vacation at Whalehead, close to shops & grocery store. Would definitely go back!"

"Great views and layout of the home had plenty of seating and room for the whole family. Pool area and covering was a great setup, the perk of finding a kiddie pool was perfect for our 9 month old to play in while the older kids enjoyed the inground pool. The beach access directly across the street from the house was still under construction during our stay which was a little bump in the road for us but looking forward to coming back next year to continue making memories at Whaler’s Quay OBX!"

"The house was wonderful! It is very well stocked with kitchen items and there is plenty of room to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed the close beach access! The updated pool area was beautiful and relaxing! We have been renting in Corolla for several years now and to date, this house was my personal favorite. Great vacation!"

"We loved this home! We have been coming to Corolla for years and this home was hands down our favorite one of all of them. The location is perfect. The pool and hot tub and gazebo were fabulous to hang out at any time of the day. It was very clean. Well stocked. Definitely will be booking again."

"This house was great and the perfect location. Coming in to the updated Pool Deck was definitely a welcome surprise. The only issue we had was the knives were not great at all so it was a bit tough when cooking and eating certain dinner. For someone who cooks in the house I did not have enough of the tools I needed. The toaster was also not great and needs to be updated. We will for sure keep this house on the top of our list when we come back!"

"This home had a gorgeous pool and cabana. Deck furniture and pool furniture are new. Loved the screened in porch. Great beach access right across the street. Interior of the house was very nice. Mattresses were good. Cons were poor wifi at pool. No knives that could cut even a lemon. Difficulty with TVs"

"What a perfect getaway home! The house is beautifully furnished; the pool area is new and quite nice; and the beach is just one house away. We loved our stay here!"

"Great home in a very convenient location. House is locate directly across from public access to the beach which is very nice. Short walk or ride to local shops and restaurants. Top floor is wide open and accommodated our group very well. The pool area appeared to be recently renovated and was very nice. Large pavilion with ceiling fan was great on hot sunny days. All new patio furniture around the pool and on all decks was amazing. New hot tub and new pool liner were nice as well. The outdoor shower could use a power washing and the carpet on the middle floor could use a good cleaning. Overall our group was super happy with the house and would recommend it."

"Home is well equipped. Deck furniture is fantastic. Location in proximity to beach is great. Only drawback is that it is located at one of the busiest intersections in Corolla. Not a lot of “peace and quiet” as compared to some Whalehead locations."

"This home was great! View of the ocean, sound of the waves, nice decks to enjoy it all. The new deck furniture is awesome! The fence around the pool really needs to be expanded on the back side. There isn't nearly enough room to walk all the way around the pool. Knives in the kitchen are super dull and would be nice for those to be replaced. New beds were great! Would definitely stay here again."
