"We loved the outdoor furniture all around the house. The pool area is really sweet. We had young children and the alarms on the doors to the pool were really appreciated. The mattresses on the bunk beds were all a bit worn and not much support. We needed those rooms for adults, too, and they really were not all that comfortable. The house has a good layout and accommodated 2 extended families quite well. The pots, pans and glassware was very adequate for our group. Loved that the plates were Corelleware and they were easy to use and stack in the dishwasher. Also loved the plastic plates for kids and for lunch. Nice kitchen to live in for the week! Unfortunately the public access was not functionable the week we were there. We were lucky the people across the street invited us to use their access to the beach. Its a great house to vacation at Whalehead, close to shops & grocery store. Would definitely go back!"
"Great views and layout of the home had plenty of seating and room for the whole family. Pool area and covering was a great setup, the perk of finding a kiddie pool was perfect for our 9 month old to play in while the older kids enjoyed the inground pool. The beach access directly across the street from the house was still under construction during our stay which was a little bump in the road for us but looking forward to coming back next year to continue making memories at Whaler’s Quay OBX!"
