The location was perfect—close to shops, the beach, and everything we needed. A really sweet touch was the delivery of local homemade pies, which made us feel so welcomed. This trip made a great impression on our New England friends who had never been to the Outer Banks—they finally understand why we keep coming back year after year. We sincerely appreciate your thoughtful feedback, as your insights help us improve the experience for all our guests. Based on your suggestion, we’ve added a new refrigerator alongside the chest freezer on Level 1 to provide more storage. We also understand TV service can be tricky, so we’re making the switch to YouTube TV for a more seamless experience. Additionally, we’ll be replacing the grill cover—thank you for bringing that to our attention. Your input means a lot to us. We have an added surprise for our 2025 guests - we are enlarging the pool deck for added pool chair comfort and we replaced all the carpeting in the Level 2 bedrooms with premium plank flooring. We can’t wait to welcome you back next year!
"The house was spectacular and Twiddy responded to every question I had timely and they were so kind. This was the best experience I’ve had with a vacation rental. There was nothing needed - house was beautiful and equipped with everything. The layout is perfect for fun gatherings and all 24 in our party had a blast from 4 to 83 years old."

"This was our fifth year in having a family vacation in OBX. It was the first time renting the Perfect Storm and our first time using Twiddy. The home was spectacular, our favorite by far. The different levels in the pool allowed everyone to enjoy! Our two, two-year-olds loved playing in the shallow section and our six-year-old loved the 3 ft section. The adults LOVED the swim up bar. The hot tub was also a favorite retreat in the late hours of the evening. The game room and the movie theater were enjoyed by the teenagers. The cabana service on the beach was also a nice addition. The kitchen was stocked extremely well. Our 87 year old parents, enjoyed all the seating on the decks. We will be returning! We also give Twiddy & Company a 5 Star Review. We had a few maintenance requests and they arrived within 30 minutes of each request. The home was spotless and well maintained. Twiddy was easy to reach and answered all of our questions during the booking process. Would definitely use them in the future. Thank you both for an amazing week and wonderful memories."

We enjoyed all the top of the line kitchen appliances, listening to our family playlist throughout the entire house, the great arcade, the heated pool (which was the perfect temperature) or sitting back and watching some movies in the theatre. Thank you very much for your feedback. We are new owners of the Perfect Storm. We have spent this off season working on improving the house for our guests' enjoyment. In addition, we are excited to reveal that one of the areas we are focusing on during the off season is creating space for an arcade room in the south garage.
