We've been vacationing in the OBX for 32 years and this home was the best of any we've stayed in! The house was beautifully decorated and well maintained. The kitchen had everything and all the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable! We loved the amazing ocean views , two hot tubs, the outdoor bar area and the fact the home was so close to the beach. We also loved that the home was close to the Food lion and other shops. The parking area was a bit small and we often had to maneuver cars and we wished the pool was heated (our week was cool) but other than that we're looking forward to coming back!

Can you drive north into Virginia on the outer banks? - or do you have to go back south to 64 to get to places such as Norfolk?
Good question Kevin! There is actually a gate on the beach at the NC/VA state line, and vehicular traffic is not allowed in that portion of the beach in Virginia. To get back to the Hampton Roads/Norfolk area, you would need to go back down Rt. 12 to Rt.158 across the Wright Memorial Bridge to the mainland and back up that way!
