Centrally located in the Whalehead community, this home is located right next to the pathway to the beach. The beach is approximately a 4-minute walk from the home. The home is situated on a private lot, with trees all around. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax, both inside and outside of the home.
The great room on the top floor of the home is open and spacious, perfect for your entire group to congregate. Relax and watch TV together in the living area. The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare meals during your stay, from big breakfasts to seafood feasts, and there’s plenty of counter space for multiple cooks to be in the kitchen. Choose to eat together at the dining table nearby or at the countertop seating area. Step outside onto the wrap-around deck to enjoy morning coffee and the ocean breeze. After nightfall, grab a beverage and head up to the rooftop-level ship’s watch deck to gaze at the stars in the dark night sky. An office on the second floor of the home can accommodate those who need to check in with work or school. On the ground floor, the spacious rec room has a pool table and a sitting area with TV. There is also a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and seating, so snacks and cold drinks are never far away.
The home's outdoor area offers many fun options, whether your goal is to relax in the sunshine, play games, or practice your jump shot. Make a splash in the private pool, and relax at the nearby tiki bar afterward. Have a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Just outside of the pool area is a large sand volleyball court for family fun, complete with vacation bragging rights. The basketball hoop in the large driveway allows for pickup games during your stay. There is an outdoor half bath and outdoor shower to help keep the sand outside of the home. You and your pets will leave the Outer Banks relaxed and rejuvenated after a stay at “Salty Dawg” in Corolla!
