"20 family and friends thoroughly enjoyed a week in September at Salt and Light in the beautiful OBX. The house met our expectations with numerous master bedrooms, phenomenal ocean views, a dining table which accommodated all of us, top notch restructured decking and comfortable living spaces. Heating the pool is a must for our group and there wasn’t a day that went by without someone enjoying the warm water. We laughed and danced at karaoke night while garbed in our stylish, funky or ridiculous choice of wigs. Adding to our enjoyment is the choice we make to seek out a different home each year. So many wonderful options! Salt and Light did not disappoint. Sunrise, sunset and sandpipers are just a few of the reasons we return every year - this being our sixteenth visit. "We have been coming to the Outer Banks a few times a year for about 15 years and this is our favorite house! The view from the top and middle floors are absolutely beautiful. Every bedroom has special touches, and the furniture is all new and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need, but the house is also close to a lot of restaurants and stores if you would rather order in. The oversized hot tub, game room, and theatre were all terrific amenities and well used by our family. We had a few beautiful days on the beach, and one chilly day when we were happy to turn on the fire place which heated up the spacious top floor in minutes. I'm not exaggerating to say this may be the only place we ever want to stay again. Looking forward to returning soon."
