“Rain Dance” invites everyone to settle into the easy rhythm of an oceanfront vacation in Corolla! With a private walkway leading from the home to the beach, the Atlantic is just steps away, while expansive decks offer front-row seats to the sights and sounds of the coast. Spend the morning with coffee overlooking the water, head down to the sand for a few hours, then come back to the pool for an afternoon swim. When the day winds down, gather outside for dinner or simply enjoy the ocean breeze together.
Inside, the main house is designed to bring a large group together without making anyone feel crowded. The top-level great room is the natural gathering spot, with a gas fireplace, ocean views, and plenty of space to relax. The adjoining kitchen is ready for everything from quick breakfasts before the beach to dinners for the whole group, with two dishwashers, two refrigerators, and a gas stove. The nearby dining area keeps meals and conversation connected to the heart of the home. On the middle level, a sitting area with a wet bar and refrigerator creates another place to gather, while the lower level offers a theater room and rec room with a pool table, arcade game, and wet bar with refrigerator. Kids can settle in for a game downstairs while adults enjoy a quieter conversation upstairs.
Outside, the private pool becomes a gathering place of its own. Take a dip between trips to the beach, relax beneath the poolside cabana, or let the kids enjoy the water while everyone else finds a comfortable spot nearby. The hot tub is especially inviting after sunset, when the day's pace begins to slow. A gas grill and outdoor half bath add convenience for afternoons and evenings spent outside, and beach cabana service makes beach days even easier, providing morning setup and afternoon take-down of two umbrellas and six chairs.
Twelve bedrooms provide plenty of room for everyone to settle in, with ensuite bathrooms throughout the home and several bedrooms offering direct deck access. The guest house adds another layer of flexibility. Four ensuite bedrooms are arranged across two levels, with a sitting area and wet bar with a beverage refrigerator on each floor. It’s an ideal setup for grandparents, older children, or another family traveling together; close enough to be part of everything, with a little more privacy at the end of the day. The mix of bedroom configurations in the main house and guest house makes Rain Dance especially well suited to extended families and groups traveling together, giving everyone a comfortable place to retreat while keeping the best gathering spaces shared. The main house includes an elevator for added convenience with unloading luggage and groceries.
Located in Whalehead, “Rain Dance” combines a peaceful oceanfront setting with a convenient Corolla location. The community is close to local restaurants, shops, and some of Corolla’s most popular attractions.
