A desk and two tables for puzzles or games provide space for a variety of activities. The top floor King ensuite has a large recently renovated walk-in shower. A Queen ensuite and powder room complete the top floor.
Second floor features include deck access and ocean views for three of the four bedrooms. To maximize guest flexibility, there are 2 King ensuites, an ensuite with two queen beds, and a King bedroom with a semi-private bathroom. The second-floor den has seating for four, a drink cooler, kitchenette, microwave, television, desk, and easy access to the outdoor deck and swing.
The first floor includes a large family ensuite with a King size bed, two bunk sets, and a private bath. In the recreation room, there is seating for seven, a 9’ regulation pool table with player stools, an indoor shuffleboard table, television, washers and dryers and an additional refrigerator. An elevator makes it easy to move groceries and luggage and is helpful for family and friends that struggle with stairs.
Outdoor features of the "Painted Lady" include a private gated pool, a hot tub, outdoor shuffleboard, a picnic table, sturdy outdoor chaise lounges and chairs for the pool deck as well as a gas grill, numerous tables and chairs, a fish cleaning table, and a hammock and swing on the 2nd and 3rd floor decks. The private beach walkway and the home's mid-block location provide a quieter stretch of beach to enjoy. The observation deck is an ideal location to meditate in the morning or share evening cocktails with family and friends. Whether you swim in the surf, catch a fish, collect shells on the beach, chase ghost crabs, visit the nearby shipwreck, fly a kite, stargaze on the dune deck, or just read or nap on the beach, you are guaranteed to leave the "Painted Lady" with fond memories.
The "Painted Lady" is located in the Whalehead community, near shopping, restaurants, Wild Horse tours, kayaking in Currituck Sound, and other activities. The Painted Lady provides a Welcome Package, Beach Cabana Service (May 30 – September 30), and discounted greens fees at the Kilmarlic Golf Club to enhance your guest experience.
