Luxury and location merge at “Gandhi” to provide an unforgettable Outer Banks vacation! Stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean are in store, as this magnificent home is located on the oceanfront in Corolla. Modern seaside decor and upgraded finishes can be found throughout the home, from top to bottom. This home is well-appointed with amenities in multiple common spaces, indoors and out. There are twelve bedrooms total, each is a master and includes a private bathroom. All that your vacationing family wants or needs during your stay on the OBX was considered in the design and construction of “Gandhi”.
Upon entering the great room on the top level of the main home, you are greeted with ocean views that flood through the large picture windows. Comfortable seating is furnished in multiple living areas, allowing you to choose to focus your gaze on the ocean or watch TV with the family. The adjacent kitchen is a chef’s dream. The kitchen is spacious, with plenty of counter space and multiple appliances to assist with storing food, preparing meals, and cleaning up. There is a large dining table and countertop seating close by so everyone can enjoy meals together. Access to the oceanside deck is just off the dining area, allowing you to stop outside with your morning coffee or afternoon beverage and enjoy the salty ocean breeze. There is an elevator, which is helpful for unloading groceries and luggage. There is one master bedroom on the top level of the main home, which offers deck access. A half bathroom is also available on the top level.
The middle level of the main home has five bedrooms, each a master bedroom with a private bathroom. There are two additional master bedrooms on the lowest level of the home. The ground floor also includes indoor entertainment options for hours of fun. Have the ultimate family movie night in the theatre room. Challenge the family to a friendly competition in the rec room, which includes a pool table and an arcade. A kitchenette with refrigerator and bar allows for breaks in the action to grab a snack or beverage. A half bathroom and laundry facilities are included on the ground floor.
Step outside to the outdoor oasis, which includes a generously sized private pool and poolside cabana. Relax with a restorative soak in the hot tub at the end of the day. From the pool area, there is a private walkway to the beach.
The guest house has an additional four bedrooms and two common areas. The top level of the guest house has two master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and a sitting area. The top level of the guest house connects to the top level of the main house via an outdoor covered breezeway. The second floor of the guest house has two master bedrooms, with a private bathroom in each, as well as a sitting area. There is an outdoor covered breezeway that connects the second level of the guest house to the middle level of the main home. There is no interior stairway that connects each level of the guest house.
The Whalehead community is centrally located close to everything that Corolla has to offer. Grocery stores, shopping, dining, and activities are just a bike ride or short drive away. However you and your family like to spend your time on the Outer Banks, “Gandhi” is the perfect spot to relax and unwind!
