"Beautiful home! We loved that each bedroom had a private door onto the deck to see the ocean views. It was a great size for 9 people and we could easily walk to Food Lion and the shops. The hot tub and pool were amazing. We also got a chocolate cake delivered, courtesy of the owners. So sweet! 10/10 recommend this place."

The oceanfront views are exceptional especially the sunrises! The decks are wonderful for relaxing & dolphin watching! We have stayed at the Duchess of Whalehead many times & highly recommend it!"

"Love the location and the view. Accommodations are comfortable and homey. All but 1 bedroom is a master, which is WONDERFUL for multiple families. Wish there were bunks in 2 twin room. 2 fridges are great but REALLY miss the bar icemaker."

"This house is a strong 4.5 star home. This was our 3rd visit to the home and won't be our last. We have already booked for next year. The location, the AWESOME views and the relatively unpopulated beach make for a great vacation house. The house is comfortable and homey. Great setup for larger families or small groups. We love the extra den for the kids. Beds are comfortable and 6 masters is such a great feature. A little outside TLC would push this to a 5 star home. We have already started the countdown for next year."

"The house was awesome. Right on the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the ice maker. The only issue we had with the kitchen was the knives. They did not have one knife that was sharp. I suggest bringing your own knives to cut any meat with. Other than the knife situation the house was perfect."
