Let the good times roll at “Big Easy,” your family’s perfect Outer Banks escape in Corolla’s Whalehead community! Just a short stroll from the beach, this oceanside retreat offers a seamless blend of comfort, fun, and relaxation.
Start your mornings with coffee on the screened porch, then head to the beach for sun and surf. Afterward, cool off in the private pool or unwind in the hot tub. A variety of seating options are available throughout the decks on each level.
The open-concept great room on the third floor is ideal for gathering, with an abundance of natural light. Cozy seating is available in the living area, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The den on the second level can serve as a second living area and offers access to the covered deck. Whip up your favorite vacation feasts in the fully equipped kitchen. Dine together nearby at the large table or enjoy a casual meal at the breakfast bar. Evenings can be spent watching movies, sharing stories, or simply relaxing on the deck under the stars.
The home features six thoughtfully designed bedrooms, arranged throughout its four levels, ensuring that everyone has space to refresh after a day of adventure. On the top floor, you’ll find one bedroom with deck access, as well as a ship’s watch. On the third floor, there is one master bedroom, which includes a private bathroom. The two bedrooms on the second floor share a full bathroom between them, and one of the bedrooms features a sitting area. An additional bedroom and a full bathroom are also located on the second floor. The final master bedroom is on the ground floor and includes a full bathroom with handicap-friendly features.
Challenge your family to a game of basketball in the driveway or volleyball in the yard, or enjoy a friendly match of ping pong or billiards in the rec room. The rec room includes a lounge area if you’d simply like to kick back and watch the action.
