Connect with your sense of calm on the Outer Banks at “Japandi Retreat” in Corolla! Located directly on the oceanfront, salty breezes and panoramic ocean views are yours to savor throughout your stay. Featuring simplistic decor in a neutral color palette, your entire group is encouraged to relax and enjoy all the home offers.
The great room on the top floor is the home’s main gathering place, with ocean views and plenty of natural light. The living area is comfortably furnished, perfect for spending time with loved ones or watching a movie in the evening. Across the room, there is a sitting area inviting you to curl up with a good book. Through the door nearby, there is an oceanfront rec room with arcade games and foosball. The kitchen is dreamy and will surely be a place where everyone will want to gather. The cooks in your group will love the induction stove, two ovens, and plenty of counter space. Two refrigerators ensure plenty of space to store food and beverages. The coffee bar near the dining area offers convenient access to caffeine in the mornings. After making your morning coffee, step outside onto the oceanfront deck and watch a gorgeous sunrise over the ocean. Up the spiral staircase, the rooftop-level deck offers even better panoramic views of the ocean. There is also a screened porch to relax in when you’re ready for a break from the sun. Back inside, the dining area invites your entire group to gather during mealtimes. There are two master bathrooms on the third floor, each with a private bathroom. One of the bathrooms includes a beautiful soaking tub for maximum relaxation. A half bathroom completes the top floor of the home.
On the second floor, you’ll find three master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. Two additional bedrooms, one with deck access, and one full bathroom can also be found on the middle level of the home. Laundry facilities are available on the second floor. On the ground floor, there is a half bathroom, convenient to the pool area.
Outside, take a dip in the refreshing private pool, or soak your cares away in the hot tub. When you’re ready to get your toes in the sand, take a stroll along the shared walkway over the dune to the beach. For electric vehicle drivers, there is an EV charger located at the vacation home. In addition to the amenities offered at the home, the Villages at Ocean Hill offers two community pools, tennis and pickleball courts, a basketball court, playground, fitness center for a fee, and a fishing lake. "Our family of 7 adults and 6 children spent many vacations in obx and rented homes. This home was by far a favorite. The things we loved were: a fully stocked kitchen, with all the basic items needed to have a great kitchen. We did not need anything. The appliances were top of the line. We had plenty of eating space. The common area was large and roomy. Many games and laughs were had in this area. We loved the fact that the game room was right of the main area, usually we felt separated from those playing the games. All the bedrooms were the large. The beds were so comfy. Another plus for our family was no basement, with those who have allergies it was nice to have all rooms off the ground. This place was amazing -- no clutter sitting around, with children we did not have to be worried about breaking anything. This home had three washer dryers, all top of the line.. The only thing that we found that could be improved upon was some of the bedrooms did not have dressers in. This was not a real problem for us, but some may find it a problem. Any time we had to talk with anyone from Twiddy they were so kind, fun to talk to, helpful, just a few words to describe them. This has become our vacation home in the obx. It is very obvious the owners of this home knew what vacationers want in a home. If you stay here, take good care of it, the owners deserve your respect."
"Beautiful home with plenty of bedrooms all with private bathrooms. We loved the huge refrigerator and found we didn’t need a second one on a lower level that other homes have. We did miss having another living area other than the main great room for watching TV, playing cards etc. it’s nice to have more than one option with multiple families."
