I see that beach cabana service is offered for this house. Are the two umbrellas and six beach chairs provided? Or is the service for umbrellas/beach chairs we bring ourselves?
Great question, Donna! E070 offers beach cabana service provided from Memorial Day to Labor Day only. This includes morning set-up and afternoon take-down of two umbrellas and six beach chairs on the beach. The beach chairs and umbrellas are provided and will be at the home for your use.

This home was recently purchased. The new homeowners that plan to upgrade the home prior to the 2017 vacation season. The reviews below were submitted by guests that stayed in the home in 2015 and 2016.

5 stars. There was plenty of room for our party of 10 adults and 4 young children and the room that we had was amazing! The home itself was very spacious and well laid out, and the amenities like the icemaker in the wet bar, two dishwashers, two refrigerators and two washers/dryers were most convenient. The huge pool and surrounding deck are a big plus. Being right on the ocean was wonderful and worth the premium that you pay. Our vacation ended all too soon, and we hope to come again some day.
5 stars. The home was great. This is the third year that we have stayed in it. We noticed upgrades. They were very noticed and appreciated. The outdoor furniture was great. Very comfortable and a real upgrade from the plastic ones that were originally there. We also noticed a cover for the pool table, I think the felt was also redone and paint and I believe tile was redonein the kitchen. Cooking vessels are great to include the blue steamer pot.
5 stars. Beautiful home! Loved the large pool. Kitchen is well supplied.
Plenty of TVs. Overall one of the best houses that we have stayed in! Obvious the owners had added some personal touches to make it feel like a home and not just a hotel.
4.5 stars. We were very happy to have the Sunday check-in as our trip was much easier.
One of my main criteria for choosing this particular home was the size of the pool and we were exactly right to have done that. Our six grandchildren loved having a pool large enough to have mini-races, play with their floats and practice their swim strokes. And there was even room for the adults, too!
We thought this house was wonderful. Our family loved having a newspaper and the umbrellas and chairs set up for us everyday. The pool is a great size and the space around it was spacious. We thouoroughly enjoyed our week at Birghtwaters!!
5 stars. Very nice home. By far the best we have ever rented. Plus the beach service was a great perk.
5 stars. Such a wonderful place! So much to do with out ever leaving our "home". The only complaint we have is the beds aren't very comfy, which we could tolerate that, but each one squeaks, and that's not so great. Otherwise, it's perfect. It's our favorite week of the year!
Hi - Is there an additional cost for the Beach Cabana Plus service that is listed as an amenity?
Great question, Jason!Beach cabana service provided by the homeowner of E070 from Memorial Day to Labor Day only (provides morning set-up and afternoon take-down of two umbrellas and six beach chairs on the beach), it is a complimentary service with no charge to the guests.

Since the Cabana Service provides six beach chairs, does the house also provide five beach chairs as standard equipment giving a total of 11 beach chairs? We need 10 beach chairs. Are any of these chairs the larger chaise lounges?
Jack, the Beach Cabana service is provided by the homeowner from Memorial Day through Labor Day, so there would be at least 5 chairs at the home in order to provide chairs at other times of the year. So, you should find 10 chairs, but not the chaise lounge type!

There is a statement by the owner in response to a review that a second refrigerator was purchased and was to be installed on 8/11/13. Your answer to a question about a second refrigerator on 8/27 stated you did not have any info regarding this???
Jan, the good news is that the owner response is indeed the correct one; there are two refrigerators at this home! We just did not see the review before we replied with the infomation we had on file; thank you for bringing this to our attention!

Is heating option available for pool at this home and is it likely to be needed Memorial week? Also, why are only 3 bdrms considered master but not the 4th? It looks like 3 on 2nd level have bath attached and walk out to deck as well as the one on 3rd.
Hello! Brightwaters does offer a private pool as one of its many amenities, however it does not have the option to be heated. The King room on the second level is not considered a Master because the bathroom associated with that room is semi private, meaning you can access the bathroom from the bedroom, but there is also a door leading out to the common area.

Beach Warning Flags
During dangerous surf conditions, red "No Swimming" flags fly at beach entrances. Whenever red flags are flying, swimming is prohibited. At such times, ocean conditions have been determined to be unsafe and swimmers are at serious risk of injury or death if they enter the water. For your safety, please heed all red flag warnings.
Rip currents are fast-moving currents of water that can quickly pull even the strongest swimmers away from the shore. Since the current flows under water, it’s important to know the signs of a rip current and avoid the water in that area.
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), indicators of rip currents include:
Be sure to read lifeguard stand signs when arriving at the beach. If you see warning signs of rip currents or moderate or high hazard flags, stay out of the water and alert others to do the same. If caught in a rip current, you should stay calm to conserve energy. Don’t try to fight the current. Instead, swim with the current, and swim toward shore once you’re out of the current.
General Beach Safety
The fun begins where the road ends on this unique stretch of Outer Banks shoreline just south of the Virginia border. A four-wheel drive vehicle and an adventurous spirit are required to explore this beach community, where there are no paved roads, no hotels or restaurants, not even a convenience store! What you’ll find is an uncomplicated, fourteen-mile expanse of wide, sandy beaches, dense maritime forests and marshy soundside coves.
Home to the Corolla wild horses, the possibility of catching a glimpse of these extraordinary creatures is practically commonplace. Keep in mind, they are wild - do not approach them. County ordinance states that you may not come within 50 feet of the horses at any time. Feeding, riding or petting a wild horse is prohibited. A wild horse sighting is always an exciting event, but please remember to use caution and keep your distance.
There are no fixed lifeguard stands on the 4x4 beaches. Three roving lifeguards patrol from the end of the road to the Virginia state line from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Corolla’s pristine beaches are wide with soft sand. Upon crossing the beach access over the dune line to the beach, you will find that the beach is relatively flat, which is ideal terrain for afternoon strolls.
