"Location of the home, size of the home for our family, number of sitting areas scattered throughout the home, numerous and adjoining decks, the size and quality of the kitchen features were a game-changer, outside amenities to include the heated pool and hot tub, proximity to beach was perfect with the accessibility with the private staircase and deck and the beach service with tent and chairs each day, game and movie rooms, overall cleanliness inside and outside, size of all of the rooms and sauna to name just a few..."

"We loved everything! The house was well appointed (e.g. the multi colored dishes matched the multi colored pool furniture), the master bedrooms afforded most with an ocean or sound view as well as balconies. The layout of the bedrooms also maximized occupant privacy having bathrooms, a theatre room or space separating one from another.The top level provided two dining sets creating the perfect ocean and sound views. The ship watch was perfect for assembling puzzles and reading - allowing participants to still be a part of the action on the kitchen level. The couches on the top level and theatre room were ample and comfortable. The kitchen refrigerators, wine cooler, two dishwashers AND an ice maker met our every need for a group of 14 adults.A small touch of having magnetic CLEAN and DIRTY signs on the dishwashers significantly reduced any excuses for certain guests not to clean up after themselves and put dirty dishes in the dishwasher versus the sink! LOL The pool layout provided opportunity for all to chat whether we were in the pool, hot tub or lounging in the lounge chairs."

"Thank you for a Memorable" CHRISTMAS" 2024 at Fit For A Queen . The house was Amazing just what we all needed. A few hiccups with the house but was corrected immediatedly and notified before our arrival with substitutions Thanks to Twiddy and Co. The family definitely wants to plan on a return .We all felt so comfortable , relaxed, with lots of memorable times there. Top Notch or shall we say "FIT FOR A QUEEN" Note: The mattress for the kings was awesome."

"Great kitchen, beautiful and had many amenities, including great knives. The only things lacking were kitchen towels and a broom, which Twiddy had delivered to us when we called about it. The Pool furniture was very plentiful, nice, clean and in working order. Only negative was the house only had the required 5 folding beach chairs, way too few for a house with 9 bedrooms."

"House was beautiful and very well cleaned, kitchen well stocked with dinner and cook wear, only drawback this year was the over abundance of Midgets and spider webs, we were not able to use the outside decks which in past 2 years we were always able to use! A few technical problems like pool filter and pool lights not working, but called Twiddy and both were taken care of the next day, also had a plumbing problem under the kitchen sink and Twiddy was there in 2 hrs to fix!!"

"This house is awesome! We’ve been renting in OBX for years and never rented the same house twice until Fit for a Queen. It is well appointed and they make necessary updates. The kitchen is fabulous and has pretty much everything you would need. Beds are comfortable as is the furniture. Plenty of pool chairs. We’re already planning for next year!"

"Fit for a Queen truly did feel as if it were fit for a queen! A beautiful home which offered gorgeous views of both the sound and the ocean. The rooms were perfectly maintained and lovely. Being a family of "foodies" it was nice to find the kitchen so wonderfully stocked with an array of pots, pans, waffle iron and many needed kitchen utensils and gadgets. Silent dishwashers are always such a PLUS! We were so happy that we were able to have the pool heated. I think that the pool got much more use simply because the water was warmer. A nice added touch were the pies that the owners left for us, which were gobbled up by our family. Beautiful home!"

"Beautiful! Kitchen was a dream. Spacious. Clean. We watched dolphins every single day right outside the windows. We had a little hiccup with the heat and it was addressed right away. Very quiet part of OBX. Highly recommend!"

"Fit for a Queen was the perfect fit for a family vacation for twelve. We all had our own space and also a great open 3rd floor for games, dining and watching tv. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The one drawback is the lack of storage space in the kitchen for the groceries we brought with us and purchased once we arrived. It would have been handy to have a cabinet or two to store our groceries in. Every cabinet was filled with an excess of pots, pans, dishes, and other kitchenware that wasn’t used."

"This is a great house! Wonderfully appointed. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with kitchen tools. Our vacation started with a tropical storm but we didn’t mind hanging in the house while it rained outside. A well-stocked movie room and plenty of room to separate for different games made it easy to spend time cooped up with our large family. Everyone in our group agreed that the house was great!"
