"The updated decor, the well appointed kitchen, the large pool and refurbished pool deck, the eleven full bathrooms, the two true living rooms, the main suite’s office, the two dens, the theatre room, and the provided beach chairs and the two washer and dryers."
"We loved Enchanted by the Sea. It was spacious, clean and well-situated. Kids love the pool and the movie theater. Also, they love the "playroom" with its pool table, arcade games, and foosball. The equipment and finishes are all great. My suggestions are: reupholster the seat covers in the movie theater with something waterproof. I suspect people have gotten those seats wet and they are a bit smelly. I really love the art and particularly the nautilus motif effectuated with so many sequins in so many places throughout the house. That was an inspiration. We appreciated the delivery of cake and cookies from the wine shop (thank you!!)---which introduced us to the wine shop where we then went for lunch. Another nice thing about Enchanted by the Sea is that---even though it is surrounded by other ocean-front and ocean-adjacent houses, it actually is quite private. We seldom saw neighbors and had a pretty quiet time. I think that is just a function of how it is situated on the lot. It seems to me a well-built house and in very good shape given the numbers of people that I know must be trouping through it all summer."
"The kitchen was very roomy for everyone to cook/prep meals. It was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, cups, and utensils. The pool was a great size with a wonderful big deck."

"We loved waking up every day to the expansive view of the ocean. From the great room, we watched for dolphins and seabirds even on colder days. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals together and the house was laid out nicely to ensure everyone in our group (ages ranged from 8-87) had an amazing time!"

The combination of the lovely decor, thoughtful attention to detail, and the exquisite ocean views make this home a standout among all the other rentals, as this was our 22nd year in OBX. Every room is tastefully furnished, creating an inviting, elegant ambiance that immediately makes you feel at home. The spacious and well equipped kitchen and beautiful living area is perfect for large family gatherings. We also absolutely love the movie theater, the game room and outdoor entertainment area. There are two grills so that no one is ever waiting for dinner! There are so many highlights and special features to this property. Watching the sun rise over the ocean from the comfort of this glorious home, or enjoying your morning coffee at the end of the private walkway is a moment that simply can't be beat. "This was the second time we rented Enchanted by the Sea! It fits our group of 10 adults and 7 children well! Again, the theatre and Tiki Bar were enjoyed and the location can't be beat!"
"Spacious beautiful home right on the beach. Views are fantastic! Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our large family + grands. Kitchen is well stocked with enough cookware, utensils and appliances to cook every meal at the home if you desire to do so. Double refrigerators and freezers was a bonus for our big group. 4 “sitting rooms” for quiet reflection or to drink a cup of coffee as the sun rises or sets."

"This house inside and out is amazing. The decor of the house in beautiful, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The location in Pine Island is a plus. Having a handicapped bedroom and bathroom contributes to needs that guests may require. Our stay in Enchanted by the Sea was enjoyed by all of our family of various ages."

"Although it was stormy and windy our entire stay, the amenities the home has make it worth staying in! There’s so much room for everyone to spread out and not be on top of each other the whole time. The view was amazing, and loved the easy access to the beach and pool! Definitely would stay here again. The owner even dropped off pies for our stay from a local market in Duck. Delicious and what a really thoughtful touch."
"We had a wonderful time during our vacation Oct 1st…It easily accommodated our large family and we loved the piano, pool, and quick access to the beach. The kitchen is a dream come true. You supply the food and everything else is there to help you fix it. The Master bedroom suite is beautiful and spacious. All in all we enjoyed the visit very much."
"The house was everything the pictures and description said it was. We had the most memorable week and appreciated the nice touch of the pies the owner sent us. The elevator which I thought would be a novelty turned out to be key for the older guests as well as bringing luggage and packages into the house. The only thing I would make sure to tell future guests to be aware of… there is no way to get from the kitchen to the pool area without having to go through entire house. It is a first world problem for sure but it does prove to be an annoyance. That being said you can’t go wrong with this house!"

"The house was perfect in so many ways—ample room, big hot tub, beautiful views, etc. Even the hosts thoughtful attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed (from the welcome gift to every kitchen utensil we could need while away). The only slight improvements would be better water pressure if they can somehow fix that and a better grill. The grill was way too small and only one burner for that many guests which made it difficult to use. Overall, it was an incredible vacation and we wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us"
