"We have really enjoyed another beautiful two weeks at our favorite beach house in the Outer Banks. We really appreciate the care given to this old place since we were there last year, the new bedding, the new decor, and the new decking. (no more nailheads or splinters!) we especially appreciate the prompt response from Twiddy on any thing that needed addressed, though, Like the broken icemaker and water in the refrigerator, and a broken chair. The gift basket was highly appreciated, too! We love the Compass Rose!"

"We have loved staying at Compass Rose for the last 10 years. It was again, a beautiful two week stay, with 21 of our family there at various times. We really enjoyed the addition of the Pac-Man game. We also appreciate the newly tiled floors and new dishwashers. The only thing lacking was enough good bedding. Many of the mattresses are soft and uncomfortable to use. The maintenance crew was outstanding by repairing a previously reported leak and newly reported electrical issue SO promptly. We REALLY enjoyed the gift baskets from the owners too. A lovely gesture, long forgotten. (Plenty of silverware to work with too, since there were so many of us.)"
"Need some TLC"
Thanks for the feedback Sylvania. We're new owners as of July 2020 and giving the house some TLC in the offseason (e.g. replacing all carpet with new flooring, bathroom / kitchen updates, and improving electronics). Glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you'll consider Compass Rose in the future.
