"We absolutely loved Carolina dream! The house was well organized, had many “extras” that are not usually provided or stocked in obx houses, and the views were just incredible! The house had plenty of games and puzzles, kayaks, new beach chairs, including high back ones, as well as numerous kitchen items (i.e., toaster oven, crock pot, plenty of tuber ware/dishes, toaster, two coffee pots, and lots of kitchen utensils). We had a minor issue with the microwave not working properly, which was almost immediately rectified-they dropped a replacement off hours later and the following day the primary microwave was replaced/installed. We have been coming to the outer banks for 20+ years and found Carolina dream to be one of our top houses!"
"The ice machine was a great feature I haven’t seen in previous houses. The amount of rooms was perfect for the amount of family we had. The rec room with the pool table was a big hit with my family."
"We loved the size of the kitchen and the ice maker in the kitchen was a fantastic feature. The beach chair/umbrella service was a very nice touch, while we didn't get to use it every day due to the hurricane, we did enjoy it the days we could. We were also pleasantly surprised to find 2 washers and dryers. With 20 people in a house that was very useful."

"We had a fantastic stay at Carolina Dreams! The location was excellent with easy access to the beach. The amenities were well thought out — lots of plates and utensils for a large group. We never ran out of any thing and the industrial ice maker was a game changer. The rooms were bright and clean and Twiddy did a great job of keeping us informed about our stay. We had no issues but knew that if we did, there was an accommodating team available to help."

"This is a spacious home with stunning views! It’s located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Though it’s close to other houses, the landscaping makes it feel private and secluded. The number of bathrooms (plus two outdoor showers), double ovens and dual dishwashers made it very comfortable for our large family. We LOVED this house and would definitely stay here again!!"

"Loved the interior layout. We were uncertain when we booked the home that having the kitchen on the middle floor and four bedrooms on the upper floor was going to be as enjoyable as the inverse. Every house we had previously booked had the kitchen/living room on the upper floor. We now prefer the layout of Carolina Dream! More bedroom views and the view from the middle level was fantastic with the two story+ central window! Spectacular!"

"Carolina Dream was the ideal place to spend Thanksgiving with family members from three states for our first reunion since the pandemic began. The 2-story wall of windows with views of the ocean, dunes, and sky provided a stunning backdrop for many family conversations and ukulele playing! The house was well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed to put on a full Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks for a great experience!"
"The location of this home is fantastic, and the space is well laid out and comfortable. However, the house is in need of TLC. We found several broken items throughout the house (stair tread, hammock, kitchen chairs, bunk bed, TV remotes, pool skimmer, weak WiFi). Twiddy addressed most of these problems quickly. Also, there were absolutely no staple items (except some tp and soap bars) in the house and no pool towels, which is a first for all the houses we've rented over the years. Renters should be made aware of this in advance. Overall, we had a nice experience, but I expected more based on the price."
