This 13-bedroom oceanfront home has been newly renovated and redecorated, refreshed with new décor and furniture, and primed for fun. Located in exclusive Pine Island Reserve, Heavens to Betsy is the largest house on a huge lot in the neighborhood, offering expansive ocean vistas, private beach access, and gathering spots perfect for a family vacation, multi-generational reunion, girls get-together or guys getaway. Fully one-third of the house is dedicated to entertainment space for gathering and relaxing. Guests will appreciate the mix of casual luxury, cozy spaces and coastal style — all in a stunning setting.
Hospitality starts at the top. The top level of the home is a focal point for happy gatherings, featuring a great room with gorgeous views. A beautifully appointed, brand new chef’s kitchen — complete with a coffee bar and cocktail island with seating— is made for easy meal prep, whether fancy fare or simple snacks. Enjoy your meals inside or out, with dining options and ample seating for groups large and small. An outdoor grill is conveniently located off the deck adjacent to the kitchen. A fireplace, boat bar and screened porch provide a just right setting for conversation or games. The top floor is also home to three king master bedrooms — one with handicapped friendly features and 2 others featuring upgraded wet room bathrooms with new water features — each with deck access to enjoy evening views of the sunset over Currituck Sound.
The mid-level features six welcoming king master bedrooms and two cheerful bunk bedrooms for the kids — all with new décor. There’s also a comfy efficiency bedroom with a daybed and trundle that’s ideal for essential overnight helpers such as a chef, nanny or housekeeper. This level also features a circular ocean-overlook bar, where guests enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail with lovely ocean views. Multiple seating areas provide places for quiet reading or small group chats. Outside, enjoy the expansive ocean views from covered decks, or stroll out to the new sun deck that sits atop the poolside cabana.
The terrace level has the wow factor and is furnished for fun, with a state-of-the-art theater room, featuring a 130-inch laser-projection screen and performance stage. A large game room with stone fireplace features a pool table and table shuffleboard, complemented by a smaller gamer space with a TV, lounge chairs and an arcade game. The indoor/outdoor ocean room opens to the pool and outdoor entertainment spaces, providing ultra-flexible seating, a bar and full kitchen just steps from the pool. This level is home to a master bedroom with full bath. Every floor of the house has a washer and dryer conveniently located there. A covered entryway and elevator make unloading and provisioning easy and convenient.
Outside you will find a magnificent, marble clad, multi-level pool with swim-up bar, tanning ledge, water bowl fountain with a dancing water feature, and shallow kiddie splash pool. In addition, relax under the stars in the new in-ground hot tub that can accommodate up to 16. Enjoy all-new lounge seating, a gas firepit and covered cabana with outdoor TV, comfortable chairs and a ping-pong table. Two full-size outdoor grills make it easy to cook for a crowd.
Let’s not forget about the beach! Stop at the dune deck to take in the view, and then skip down to the shore via an easy, private walkway. From April 27 to September 26, 2026, daily cabana service is included with the house, so six chairs and two umbrellas are set up for you every morning and taken down for you every evening. In addition, guests in June, July and August enjoy daily setup of a 10’ x 10’ shade tent with six additional beach chairs, and a cooler full of ice for your refreshment.
As an appreciation gift to you in June, July and August, the Heavens to Betsy homeowners will provide a catered Welcome Night dinner for your crowd the first evening of your vacation.
Upon your arrival to Heavens to Betsy, you will be greeted by a Pine Island Reserve ambassador who will familiarize you with the home. You’ll also receive upgraded linens, as well as preferred rates and tee times and Kilmarlic Golf Club. For a small fee, your group can also use the Pine Island Racquet and Fitness Center, which is within walking distance. Please note, special events are not permitted in this home.
