Our Smith Island is a sweet piece of paradise, located in the beach side neighborhood of Ocean Sands. This vacation retreat offers five bedrooms, three and a half baths, and an outdoor shower and toilet. The game room on the ground floor - which includes a kitchenette with compact refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and wet bar - is perfect for a game of pool, ping pong, card games, video games or enjoying a puzzle (all provided).
A spacious open concept living, dining and kitchen area are all conveniently located together on the third floor. Deck access from all levels makes getting to the pool and hot tub an easy venture. The mutli-level deck is well furnished for outdoor dining and lounging.
The private neighborhood beach access is a quick 7-minute walk around the neighborhood lake. It’s just a short drive to the 4x4 ride-on beach access and Currituck Lighthouse. It’s less than a mile from the grocery store, shopping/entertainment area or The Currituck Club Golf Course. The walking/biking path adjacent to Route 12 makes getting around and/or exercising safe and enjoyable.

"Great house. Well stocked kitchen - the only thing that I'd suggest is a fry pan for cooking bacon/pancakes. The pool was small and showed all the sand that was left by the previous guests so it didn't look very appealing. Beds were comfortable and the rooms fit our family well."

"Wonderfully, large house that is perfect for a large group. Was a little further from the beach than we were used to, but one of us ran shuttle service with all the beach equipment. Neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed just relaxing at the house on most evenings. Pool was great. We didn't try the hot tub, but when pool service came by, it looked nice. Kitchen was well stocked. I didn't even realize it until the last day that there was a dishwasher downstairs and dishes in the bar area. The pool table and ping pong table kept the 20 yo busy. Owners have a very nice game, puzzles, and book closet. Nice touch."
