"The is our eighth stay at Wine Down and we absolutely love this home! Wine Down is a beautiful and very well maintained home! It is just a quick walk to the beach. We love that it backs up to the lake so that we can enjoy peaceful mornings and evenings on the back deck. It is very tastefully decorated - just the right amount of a beach vibe. The kitchen is very well appointed with cute dishes, platters, pitchers, glasses, etc. We enjoy cooking here throughout our stay! The outdoor space is also well thought out and has plenty of loungers and umbrellas for us to relax around the pool. Wine Down also has lots of recreational items (corn hole, frisbee, bikes) to use. We are sad to leave and can’t wait to come back next summer!!!"

"We had a wonderful time with our extended family at Wine Down. The house was incredibly well furnished. The homeowners thought of everything that might be needed to make our time fun and comfortable. The decor was beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was very well stocked. We loved the ample counter space and the flow of the main living and dining area. The pool area was also a hit with both young and old. And our kids had a great time playing the arcade. We appreciated how quick and thoughtful Twiddly was in responding to questions we had. The homeowners were very kind and considerate to our needs during our stay. All in all a great trip! We'd be excited to stay at Wine down again!"

""Wine Down" is a beautiful home! We have stayed at many different locations on the Outer Banks over the years but we weren't sure what to expect with this home because it was not oceanfront or soundfront. I must say, the little lake at the back of the house was beautiful to look at every morning! The kids loved using the paddleboards and kayak on the lake without having to worry about big waves knocking them around. I would definitely recommend this house! You won't be disappointed!"

"You will not be disappointed! This home was the perfect family getaway. Beautifully decorated and perfectly situated between the oceanfront and a peaceful lake behind the home. Waking up to sit on the back patio and watch the sun come up over the water was so relaxing. The pool and hot tub in the back were perfect especially on the days where it was a bit too hot for the beach. The kitchen came fully loaded with every dish and appliance you might need. There were instructions for all the tvs/remotes and things were labeled for easy understanding. EVERYTHING was thought of in this home and we would easily pick it again next year."
