"This was a great vacation home - perfect for our group! Plenty of bedrooms, close to the beach and to historic Corolla Village. Our group loved the pool, outdoor shower/bathroom, and hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!!"
"The home is very nice. This was our third time staying in it. Nice pool, hot tub and decks to enjoy the sun, shade, and even rainy times. It should be noted that there is a high chair and baby pack n play. We were able to enjoy two extra days since the house wasn’t rented the week before our stay. Great vacation."

"We enjoyed our stay at Summer Break! The house was very clean and we appreciated the family friendly decor - not a lot of breakables. One thing to note- the laundry room is outside of the house on the first floor so you do need to go outside to get to it. Beds are comfortable for the most part - bunk bed room (especially the double bed) is very uncomfortable/old. The kitchen is very well stocked and convenient. The pool gets great sun in the afternoons. The TV in the upstairs (very top, king master) did not work. The yard outside was very overgrown, full of weeds and sand burrs, and we were not able to use it."

"Summer Break was just the right size for our family's 50th wedding anniversary celebration week - two couples, a single, and 3 grandkids. All had plenty of space! Well-furnished, just four houses from the beach, plenty of extra rooms if anyone needed quiet time. 5 minute walk to old Corolla village and plenty of bike paths. Pool on the small side, and kitchen dishwasher could use replacing, but the elevator was a life-saver for bringing lots of groceries and coolers to the 3rd floor (since covid 19 precautions preluded eating out and frequent trips to the store). Plenty of nice decks. New flooring, carpets, and king mattresses added this year were great!"
Thank you for of your kind words about our home! We discovered the condition of the dishwasher this summer since we did a large amount of cooking due to Covid as well.. We have plans to replace during the off season along with other upgrades. We hope you will stay in our home again.
