"Perfect home for our beach vacation! BEAUTIFUL and well kept home that had all the amenities we needed (including pool, hot tub, closed yard for our pup, large decks with amazing views). The house felt spacious but not overwhelmingly big - a perfect size (including many bathrooms!). Very close to beach access , a quiet and private street with perk of being right at the end of old Corolla village - we ended up getting pizza and stopping in the beer garden several times...loved being just a quick walk or bike ride down the street! This was our first big vacation with our two year old pup and he had the best time!"

"Was very well kept and very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. An air fryer was the only thing we wished we had. Layout was great, beds were all very comfortable and furniture was well kept. Proximity to beach was great too. Only debating about renting next year because the cost increases for next year but the house isn’t big enough for multiple families to share the cost. Military discount or repeat renter discount would be great."
"The pool was awesome and the backyard was perfect for dogs. The house is beautiful and close to everything ! The beach, the historic village, shopping and dining at Tim Buk II. We so enjoyed our stay!!!"

"As always, the Outer Banks does not disappoint. We had a wonderful time seeing wild mustangs seeing deer come out of the backwoods having two mustangs run down the road to the beach they got loose many dolphins Sandollar‘s shells I could go on for days what we love about the Outer Banks. The house is beautiful and everything is right at your fingertips. Very beautiful views beautiful swimming pool, hot tub. The house is just amazing."

"Felt like home away from home. Very comfortable. Didn’t feel like you were in a rental. You can tell the owner takes great pride in her home. Beautifully decorated and fully equipped kitchen. Not to mention the wonderful neighbors she has in Beth and Tony. They kept asking us if there was anything we needed during our stay. Wonderful people and she is very lucky to have them next door. Will be back next year!"

"Jacks Splash is a lovely home. This was our second year staying there and we had a wonderful time. We comfortably fit 11 people, 8 adults and 3 children. The hot tub and pool are great, there’s a lot of seating space in the living room. The beds are comfortable…..aside from the pull out couch in the room on the ground floor, it’s a bit uncomfortable but come on it’s a pull out couch, you can’t expect much. The kitchen is well stocked, the only thing I found it to be missing was grilling utensils. All things considered, we LOVE this home and can’t wait to return next year. Oh!!!! Also, as of 2022 the owners no longer use Twiddy cleaning services. The new cleaning company did a great job, the house was spotless when we arrived which is very important."
Thank you for returning to our home this year. We value our guests and try very hard to offer accommodations that are clean and comfortable. We replaced the sleep sofa last year with the aerobed mattress feature to make it as comfortable as possible. There should have been grilling utensils in the kitchen, so sorry you did not find them. We are very excited to have the new furniture in place (took almost a year after it was ordered), the new deck and furniture outside. AND the new cleaning service and so happy to hear that it was spotless upon your arrival!

"We absolutely love this home. It's the perfect distance from the beach, has comfortable beds, and a fabulous kitchen with everything we need. The only changes I would make would be adding a second fridge that works (the downstairs one has never worked for us) and adding a larger table for outdoor dining on the upstairs deck. I wish Twiddy allowed for multi week rentals because we would stay a whole month if we could!"

"This is our first year staying at Jack's Splash after staying for 15-20 years in another house on the same street. Jack's Splash is very well maintained, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could need (except a teapot! We'll bring one next year.) Location is fantastic and we can't wait to stay here again."
