Loved the house (kept us safe as hurricane Matthew passed over). Would stay there again. Beach view was outstanding.

We have stayed in the house six times, each time for 2 weeks. We love the location and its size is perfect for our extended family. However, the house is starting to show its age and wear and tear. The exterior decking needs work and the interior carpeting should be replaced. But with that said, it's still our favorite OBX house. Could you please move the OBX closer to our house in MA. The drive to and from is getting harder every year. Just kidding.

I was wondering if horses visit this house or can they be seen from this house wandering the beach?
Sherry, this home is located in Corolla Village, and the wild horses are located in the 4x4 area beyond where the paved road ends, just north of the village. You could drive up there yourselves if you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, or go on one of the wild horse tours available in the area!

We noticed the vacant lots nearby. Are you aware of any construction taking place near your home in 2014?
Thank you for your inquiry, Bob & Suz! Twiddy cannot predict construction plans in the area and has no control over construction noise. You may reserve a house at a time when there is no construction in progress nearby, but construction could begin prior to your arrival. We regret any inconvenience, but we are not able to facilitate relocations or refunds.

This house has 6 bedrooms and 5 full baths. Which bedroom does not have an attached bathroom? Thank you.
Hi Laura! The two King bedrooms in Sam, Dick, and Harry's are masters and have their own bathrooms attached. The Queen bedroom and room with 2 Twins and 2 Trundles have a shared bath, commonly referred to as a 'Jack and Jill' bathroom. The remaining rooms do not have bathrooms attached, but have full bathrooms conveniently located on each level.
