Guest recommendations
"This is our fourth year at this beautiful home! Some nice upgrades and the location can’t be beat. Looking forward to our second week. Already booked the same 2 weeks for next year!"
"Great space for everyone to spread out. We loved the pool area the most."
"We loved the location. Although a little disappointed when we arrived to see a home being built where the ocean view was, we found all the other gorgeous views made up for that. Corolla Village was so quaint and private. It reminded us of the old OBX we once knew and is now hard to find. We also loved the outdoor areas, the pool, tiki bar, and all the hammocks."
"A little bit of an upgrade this year, new TV/Cable, yeah finally easy to figure out how to use. The Blackstone grill and expanded pool patio were very nice. Unfortunately, someone is building a house in front of this home so we lost our wonderful view of the ocean. Not your fault, it was bound to happen. The home is very nice and we really enjoy our stay there. We have it on hold for next year"
"Perfect beach set up for families. Beach is literally steps away and makes it easy to come back for anything forgotten or to grab lunch. Easy walk to Currituck light house/ wildlife education center/ shops & restaurants (we like Ikes Grill & Cosmos pizza) at Corolla Light shopping center including a great bakery with coffee and a delicious ice cream place. Lazy beach days turn to fun pool / hot tub/ pool table/ corn hole (provided) evenings. Tiki bar for gathering with small frig and bathroom by pool are both bonuses! Beds were comfy. Took turns cooking all family meals at the house including using the gas grill. Had enough room for all 12 of us to eat dinner family style daily by combining the large round and small square table in the great room. Great set up with two dishwashers and two ovens plus two sets of washer/ dryers (one set is in the Master bedroom on first floor) and all were utilized. Note the former ocean view is partially blocked as of 07/23 by the new oceanfront house being built but still can see and hear the ocean. Now best views off the side deck. Deck has lots of comfy seating on both floors. Awesome star gazing at night. Note the construction didn't impact our stay and they were literally working M-F. The guest house queen bedroom is a large studio apartment- cute with it's own bathroom/ kitchen/ living room set up. Young adults enjoyed but could also be for someone that needs to have a reprieve from the chaos of multiple families. FYI- There is a shed by the guest house of chairs & beach stuff which we discovered on the last day. The Twiddy team is very responsive with questions. Loved It's Five O'Clock Somewhere and we will be back!"
"Beautiful home was there after hurricane and during hurricane but beach beautiful pool and hot tub nice we were given plenty of towels and beds all comfortable with great pillows"
"We loved the view of the ocean and the pool area!"
"Ocean view from top deck is INCREDIBLE! Can watch the sunrise without going to beach. Side yard great for corn hole & yard games. Nice layout, 3 bedrooms have ocean view. Really enjoyed the outdoor hammock & swings as well as the pool & hot tub. All around FANTASTIC beach house!"
"This was our third year at this fabulous home. Already booked for next year! The home is beautifully kept and the location is outstanding. My family loves it. I highly recommend this home to people looking for a perfect vacation home."
"Very nice house and we enjoyed our stay"
"The location was perfect and quiet! The pool was bigger in person than in the pictures. Bathrooms were updated. The view of the Ocean was awesome."
"Layout of home is great! Not too big not too small, Lovely views and nice updated interior, it's a little further up and away from everything but we like that part."
"Overall beautiful home. Only downside was the pool wasn't in the sun very long by 3 pm it was behind the house. Also the beds had no comforters only sheets although there were blankets in the closets we didn't have enough for the whole house. But we also had 18 people staying. And never felt crowded."
"The home was perfect! Well maintained, well stocked and great beach location. My whole family agreed it is our favorite home since we’ve been coming down to the OBX."
