"Lovely house with plenty of space to spread out. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. Great pool, hot tub and nice game room and theater room to keep the young adults busy on the rainy days. Outdoor shower didn’t work but was able to wash the sand off with the hose. We like to have big family dinners and found the kitchen lacking in cookware. All in all a really nice house and we would stay there again."

"Beautiful and roomy home with large living/dining room areas. Well equipped kitchen- liked having 2 refrigerators, ovens and dishwashers. Plenty of dishes and utensils available as well. Hard to find a large house with 10 bedrooms where 8 are king size beds- each with their own private bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms very spacious. One bedroom had a handicapped accessible bathroom which was very nice. The pool and hot tub were a must for us outside after being at the beach for the day. The beach access is a 5-10 minute walk but has many steps up and down over the dunes. We drove 1.7 miles north to the public beach access that had a ramp available for easier access to the beach. Summer Salt was the perfect place for our family OBX 2024 gathering. Already reserved it for 2025."
"Great house for a group of 16. The elevator was so helpful for the grandparents and for moving in and out. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The pool alarm took some getting used to but was happy to have it to be sure the little ones didn't sneak out for a swim. There are no water views. No fully covered areas (great for shade but not to stay dry with all the rain we had)."

"The home was very spacious. We had 15 people and plenty of extra room. Well stocked everything. Beach was about 7-10 minute walk. The pool and hot tub were our favorites. I would definitely recommend this home to rent."

"Loved this place…. Each room was spacious, comfortable and had its own bathroom. The game room in basement leads out to pool, theater room and top level kitchen with deck access we’re favorite spots. The little surprises like surround sound out by pool, and living room were a nice touch."
