Hello I have the house booked for 5/20, is the bedroom outside of room 16 a full bath? Is the bathroom between 14 and 15 a half bath? It says 14 full baths and 1 half. Just a little confused

Jack, the 4x4 area is home to the Corolla Wild Horses. While it is not guaranteed that you will see them from your home, it is possible. They roam the entire area and have been known to hang out on the beach and in the yards of homes from time to time.

If your car does not have 4 wheel drive, can twiddly or Corolla provide shuttles bringing us to our house and bringing the luggage?

You can carpool with others in your group that have a 4x4 vehicle or you can use one of the 4x4 transportation services. The Corolla Shuttle and Corolla Cab Company both offer 4x4 transportation for a fee.

Jsprigg, we only recommend 4-wheel vehicles for accessing homes in the 4x4 area. There are no paved roads on the northern Outer Banks beaches—travel is over loose sand roads and actual sand dunes. Please consult your vehicle manual and manufacturer for specific information.

Julie, Anegada's Windjammer was completed in June of 2008, and changes are made as needed, based on guest feed-back, and annual inspections and inventory reports. There is "spring cleaning" done of course, as well as the weekly cleanings and pool and spa services, and scheduled window and carpet cleans throughout the season, and spiffs as needed!

Doug, this home has satellite TV. Every Twiddy home is guaranteed to have at least 1 television and 1 DVD player in the great room. Currently, this particular home provides a television in the theatre room, rec room, sports bar, great room and den. In addition, our most recent inventory reports that the master bedrooms all have televisions, but that could always be subject to change, since they are not specifically advertised that way.

Ray, Anegada's Windjammer is located 2.5 miles past the point where you cross from the paved road to the beach. You will actually drive on the beach, either on the packed sand just west of the water, or in the drier, deeper sand just east of the dune line; the trip should take approximately 10 to 15 minutes. You will receive driving directions at check-in, which include setting your trip odometer to zero when you leave the paved road, and watching for the appropriate mile-marker, where you will make a left to go through the dune line on the "road", which is a sand pathway.
