"The home was spacious and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach. The furniture was comfortable and Whiskey Dunes had multiple activities to both help our family relax, and keep us busy enjoying important family time together. From the pool and hot tub, to the pool table, arcade games, and beach supplies, we had all we needed to have an amazing week of fun and relaxation. "We loved the views of the ocean, the double ovens and dishwashers, the elevator, and the walkway to the beach. We were also happy to see the home had a Keurig, which I don't think was included in the home description."

"I liked the large open space on the main level. Also liked the middle level game room with pool table and old school video games. The flat screen there was a nice touch providing lots of places people could go to entertain themselves. although it was a bit cool at this time of year, I liked the outdoor areas behind the house and easy access to the beach."

"Nice home with recent updates. The exhaust fans in several of the bathrooms don't work. Icemaker in kitchen stopped working at the end of our stay. Front door locking mechanism is finicky resulting in non-closure with usual amount of pull. We believe this led to long periods of unclosed door while cleaners were there prior to our stay resulting in a house full of flies and gnats when we arrived. Outside elevator door locks on ground and second floors are faulty and won't allow access on bottom two levels even if screen gates are shut. For the record this is our 34th Twiddy oceanfront rental sonce September 2009; as fellow rental property owners we offer constructive feedback."

"This house was absolutely amazing for all of us! Wild horses walked right by everyday, the beach access was perfect! All the rooms were very comfortable, the double ovens and double dishwashers was a huge bonus for our large group, every room had its own bathroom which was perfect, and the view from the top deck was our favorite place to be if we weren’t on the beach! Only bad was we had to leave early because Hurricane Ian was closing in at the end of our stay!"

"The house was both roomy and beautiful and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The walk way to the beach was convenient and very well maintained. There were a few minor issues with the house when we arrived but all of them were addressed in a timely manner by Twiddy. We enjoyed our stay at Whiskey Dunes so much that we rebooked the house for 2 weeks for next summer!"

"This home was beautiful and welcoming. Kitchen was amazing, the dune walk out to the beach was perfect. It had every convenience you could think of and was small children friendly. Wish it was my own home!! Can’t wait to go back. What a perfect vacation my family and I had."

"Our fifth year in Corolla and our first time at Mount Dune. This year was the best yet! The finishes are what made this stay so perfect. Three major things- elevator, industrial sized ice maker, and boardwalk to the beach! Ok then other things like both a Mr Coffee AND a Keurig, a Viking stove, 2 refrigerators and 3 dishwashers, TWO crockpots! … a beach room full of beach toys and NICE beach chairs… outdoor games such as darts, ping pong, and cornhole. Two gas grills, The pool was on the small side but plenty big enough for our “poolside” days. TVs in every room with Roku players ready for you to log in with your credentials for Netflix, Hulu, Disney+. Three covered parking spaces and then more space for more cars…. And everything that was in the house was well cared for and like new! We way overpacked, this house had everything! If there was any room for improvement at all, I would say it needs a bigger washer and dryer. Can’t wait to come back!"

"Best vacation house ever! Seriously, the large open common areas were perfect for giving everyone space to spread out and relax. Even with 20 people in the house, it never felt crowded. Decor was modern and inviting, and coupled with the openness of the floor plan, gave the feeling of a luxury holiday. Feeding our large crowd was easy with double ovens, 3 dishwashers, and the largest gas range any of us had ever seen. We loved it and can’t wait to come back!"

"This was our 4th time in the 4x4 area and this house was by far the most welcoming home we have ever stayed in. The owner certainly made sure all the comforts of home were right at our fingertips. Can't wait to plan our next family vacation there!"

"This home was amazing. The owners put so much thought and energy into creating a home rather than a rental. I felt like this was my place and I just needed to go to the grocery store to start the season. In the kitchen there was enough silverware to serve 30 people or more, the cookware was in very good condition, there was every item I could think to use while making meals, even a slow cooker. There are 2 dishwashers there so you don't have to handwash anything. The upstairs and downstairs both have their own surround sound systems to play music or TV through. The bar was amazing an had another dishwasher there, with a popcorn maker, and a genius touch of a large icemaker(great for filling the cooler before hitting the beach). Outside the pool and hottub were centers of attention with ample seating. The lower deck has ping pong, cornhole, darts, and a few other games. They provide you with at least 12 beach chairs, a few umbrellas, kids toys and buckets. There is so much there so you can pack light and have an amazing time with your family(lots for the kids at the house). I could write for hours about how great it all is. It was clean, well maintained, and amenities for days. There is no better place to stay in NC!"

The views are breathtaking - we watched every sunrise and sunset from the deck - breathtaking- such a blessing! The kitchen stocked with everything we could ask for and more.
