The “Sea Shanty” offers ample space for you and your group to unwind and create lasting memories. On the second floor, the living area exudes a cozy charm. Inside the well-equipped kitchen, you find everything you need to prepare your favorite meals. The dining area provides a perfect setting for shared meals. As you step outside onto the deck, the ocean breeze brushes against your face, heightening your senses. You can spend lazy afternoons lounging on the covered deck, enjoying the salty breeze, or take leisurely walks along the coastline.
Beyond “Sea Shanty”, the 4x4 beach offers a wealth of outdoor activities to explore. The inviting waters beckon you for a refreshing swim, and the expansive beach invites you to sunbathe and build sandcastles. As you stroll along the shoreline, you may stumble upon unique seashells and treasures washed up by the tides. For adventurous souls, fishing provides an opportunity to test your skills and perhaps catch a delicious seafood dinner. And don't forget about the Corolla wild horses that roam the area! Keep your eyes peeled, and you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of these magnificent creatures, a reminder of the untamed beauty of the Outer Banks.

North Swan Beach
On the north side of the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge, there is plenty of wide open space separating the communities of Swan Beach and North Swan Beach. Specifically referred to as “North Swan Beach”, this portion of the 4x4 Beaches is situated just south of Carova Beach and approximately 3 ½ to 4 miles north of the beach access ramp.
