Appropriately named, Black Tie offers the classic white and dark style, historic nautical decor, and stunning ocean views as the perfect backdrop. The entire home is comfortable and well-appointed with family vacations in mind. The top floor library lookout is equipped with over 300 books. The top and middle level decks allow endless opportunities to relax your cares away while breathing in the soothing salt air and taking in the spectacular ocean views. The abundant decking also serves as a wild horse lookout. Keep your eyes peeled for these majestic animals that roam the 4x4 beaches. Gather your family and friends and prepare to enjoy the style and comfort of this oceanfront retreat!

"The home was absolutely beautiful and relaxing! So cozy, nicely decorated and most importantly very clean! The beach access is also amazing. A walk over the dunes was nice and easy for my little ones (3 & 4yrs) and the super quick drive around the bend to the beach was perfect for the grandparents. The loft was also absolutely adorable-- a favorite as a kids play space while inside the home. Would love to visit again!"

"With five bedrooms and five bathrooms, the size of Black Tie was more than enough space for our family of nine. The proximity to the ocean with those oceanfront views are spectacular! The decks and amount of sliding doors to access the decks are a wonderful feature. There are views of the ocean from every room in the house. The hot tub is very spacious and easily accessible. The library is so fun and relaxing- such a nice touch! We saw beautiful horses daily, they even came right up to the steps of the house. The kids even had names for them."
"We loved everything about the home. The views were incredible from sunrise to sunset. The layout worked well for our gathering of 5 adults and 2 kids. Horses visited the property almost every day of our visit and everyone loved seeing them. We would absolutely stay at this home again if we return to the area."

"Location and home are beautiful. Black Tie's location is truly amazing and it was a very special vacation and truly quality time with family. It was a surreal experience to bring our SUV on the beach and drive on sand! The majestic horses came often on the property and could be seen daily looking out the windows or sitting on the many decks. The pelicans were fun to see as well as many dolphin fins that could be seen off the shore. Bringing our SUV from the property to the beach was ridiculously convenient. Our family boogie boarded all day. Running on the beach was awesome. Definitely notice the suggestion to wear shoes/sandals when going back to house from beach. I caution you because I unfortunately missed the suggestion and lacked common sense. I had 7 large blisters 2nd degree burns running for my life once I realized my feet were burning but I was already halfway carrying my 2 year old. Please let me be your lesson. The Black Tie and it's location were 10/10. Twiddy also was 10/10 to work with! Thank you 🙏"

"This is a beautiful, well-appointed home in a great location on the OBX! We enjoyed our stay, sipping drinks while overlooking the ocean. The hot tub was a nice feature which we used every evening while the sun was setting. The decorations were charming and eclectic and I enjoyed looking through the games, books and videos in the upstairs ‘library nook’! Our only complaint really had nothing to do with the home itself, but more a reflection of the housekeeping services. We just did our own touch up in the kitchen when we arrived....also, I would like to point out that they only leave you with one dishwasher pod and 2 trash bags for the week’s stay, so you will want to pick up your own on the way in. All in all, the Black Tie was a great place to stay and we would definitely bring our family back!"

"Amazing location and high quality home. One of the most well maintained rentals we have ever stayed in. Furniture and appliances are like new and all of the small details are taken care of. Saw horses everyday. We loved the reading nook area of the house. A great spot to settle in and watch some storms roll though. Can’t wait to stay again!"
