We had a great time at the Salty Sea Era. The house is beautiful and clean. We had 11 people in our party and had plenty of room. We weren't sure about being in the 4x4 area, but ended up loving it! Woke up to beautiful views and horses grazing in our yard. Wonderful vacation!

Questions & Answers
Is there any way to ask the owner the current count of televisions in the home? I understand nothing is guaranteed, but we have a crew who likes their tv in the overnight. Thank you.
Patricia, there currently TVs in the Great Room, the Recreation Room, and both King Master Bedrooms. Since TVs in the bedrooms is not a guaranteed amenity, availability is subject to change without notice.

I noticed that one of the master bedrooms has no curtain to close across the slider in the room exposing the guests in said room to the stairwells that are directly behind it. Do the bedrooms all have curtains on all windows for privacy?
Excellent question, Patricia! This bedroom has since added a curtain. All of the bedrooms have a curtain for privacy.

Hello, is it still warm in October? Also are the pools heated and will they be open in October? Thanks!
Jennifer, the average high temperatures in October are about 70 degrees, and the lows 57 degrees. Some of our homes do offer pool heat, however, not all homes do. The availability of pool heat will be noted on the homes webpage under amenities. Our pools close for the season on October 15.

What kind of walk is it to the beach? Over the dunes? Are there rails on the stairs between floors?
Excellent question, Judith! V12263 is an oceanfront home with a private walkway to the beach. The walkway is wooden with rails and steps down to the beach.

Hi. Could you tell me what kind of coffee pot filters are needed for this home?
Jill, we do not guarantee a specific type of coffee maker as they can frequently change throughout the season, however, V12263 currently provides a standard drip style coffee maker that uses basket style filters.

Hi! are are the decks and stairs gated off to the surrounding property?
Thank you for your inquiry, Heather! There are gates on the Level 2 and Level 3 landings/stairways. On Level 1 there is not a gate, just a stairway that leads up, and then the gate is on Level 2.

I know there are no guarantees, just wondering what toys/accessories are at Dune Dragon? any pool toys left behind? any shade umbrelllas? Are the tv's equipped with dvd/blu ray players? Any board games?
Hi Mager Family, beach and pool toys are not standard amenities in our Twiddy homes, and there may be some games or puzzles, but again they are not inventoried as they are not advertised to be there. The home currently provides a DVD player but a Blu-ray player is not provided.

Are there any bike trails close to thus home??
Thank you for your inquiry, Dawn! There are some bike trails in False Cape Escape State Park, on the Virginia side of the state line, but they have soft sand in some locations. do the bedrooms have tvs in them? does it have decent water pressure? does the water have an odor?
Hello Kera! This home has a television located in the Level 3 King master, but please note bedroom televisions are considered specialty items and not advertised amenities; as a result this could change throughout the season. In regards to water, this home is on a private well. Although it is treated and tested regularly, occasionally our 4WD homes experience low water pressure, slight discoloration, or a sulfur odor to the water.

Are guests allowed to bring jet skis
Deb, jet skis are not allowed to be launched on the ocean or from any ocean beach location in Currituck. Riding and launching a jet ski is permitted in the Currituck Sound. There is a launch site in the 4x4 area at the Carova Beach Park. You can access the park at the 21 Mile Marker ramp which is 7.6 miles up the beach. is there an ice machine
Good afternoon Ken! This home does not advertise a freestanding ice machine. Sometimes the Homeowners will provide ice machines as specialty items but we do not take inventory because this could change throughout the season if they are removed at any point.
