Located approximately eight miles up the 4x4 beach, this lovely retreat is situated on the canal front in a peaceful area. In addition to the comfortable accommodations and top amenities available at the home, your entire family will enjoy the coastal landscape and serenity offered at this home’s unique location.
The home’s main gathering area is in the open and airy great room on the third floor. The comfortably furnished living area is situated to allow conversations to flow freely or to simply watch some TV. The gas fireplace is available for use during the cooler months of the year. The kitchen is equipped with all that you need to prepare all meals throughout your stay, just add groceries. Barstool seating at the kitchen island is ideal for a quick breakfast before heading outside for the day. The dining area is a great place to enjoy family meals together or to play a hand of cards in the evening. Outside, there are multiple options for relaxation. Enjoy your morning coffee outside on the sun deck. Read your favorite book while relaxing on the comfortably furnished screened porch. Enjoy an afternoon beverage on the covered deck. Back inside, a half bathroom completes the top level of the home.
On the middle level, you’ll find one master bedroom, which includes a private bathroom and access to the covered deck. Two additional bedrooms share a bathroom between them. One of the bedrooms has access to the covered deck. The den on the lower level serves as a second living area and includes a gas fireplace for use during cooler months.
Outside, you have many fun recreation opportunities to choose from. Take a dip in the refreshing private pool or enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Outdoor dining tables are available in the pool area for meal breaks in between the fun. Take a few steps down the boarded walkway from the home to reach the canal. Put the provided kayaks into the canal and enjoy exploring the calm waters near the home. Be on the lookout for the Corolla Wild Horses, as they live on the 4x4 beaches and regularly roam through the area. When you’re ready for a fun day at the beach, pack the car up and take a short drive around the corner and over the dune to park for the day. This home is “Almost Heaven” on the Outer Banks and will leave your family with fond vacation memories!

Situated on the wonderfully unique 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach offers vacationing friends and families the opportunity to enjoy time together on the coast without the distractions of a bustling neighborhood environment. A four-wheel drive vehicle is needed to navigate the beaches where Carova Beach rental homes are located. The northern-most community of the 4x4 Beaches, Carova Beach is approximately 8 miles from the beach access ramp and stretches north for about 3 miles to the Virginia border. While there are no roads, restaurants, or shops in Carova Beach, what you will find is a breathtakingly beautiful & vast shoreline, roaming wild horses and a positively ideal vacation environment.
