"Our family’s stay at Somewhere was wonderful! The home had everything we needed to relax, laugh and rejuvenate! The changes to the home by the new owners were spot on! The salt water pool and the gazebo area made it perfect for the sun lovers and those who needed some shade. Inside, we were welcomed by new flooring and mattresses that had us sleeping like babies! We love to eat and the well equipped kitchen had everything we needed! We are all ready booked for next year! Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

Thank you so much for your review, and wanted to let you know that we have only owned the home for a year and have done a lot of work, and doing a lot more including a new water system that is being installed today and will get rid of the odor, discoloration and hardness. We are also replacing all of the mattresses. Our goal is to make this the best stay for everyone and doing our best to make it happen as soon as possible.

"This was our first time in the OBX and being on the 4x4 was the best - horses in the yard all the time and being 6.5 miles up the beach no problem driving, even for a newbie like me. Slept with slider open every night and it was great falling asleep and waking to the sounds of the waves. And beautiful sunrises. Although others were driving on the beach we only saw them - never heard anything but the ocean. House space was great and very quiet between floors. Kitchen well stocked as we like to cook. Nice there were refrigerator in the kitchen, wine cooler and also a full fridge in the game room on the first floor. Beds comfortable and all the bathrooms worked out great. There were only 9 of us but the space could easily accommodate more people without feeling you’re too closed in. We were there in early May and no need for air conditioning and great cross breezes, especially at night. Pool and hot tub were great - loved them next to each other so we could all be together at same spot. We had asked for the pool to be heated and although technicians came out a few times, not even warm water was pumping in but we had the hot tub and for those adventurous enough, cooled off in the pool. My 3-yr old granddaughter, who we thought would need the heat, was in the pool all the time so not too cold for her! Two outdoor showers really convenient. Plenty of hot water and pressure outside and in. We brought drinking water just to be safe but I think there were water filters in the fridges. Definitely got our daily steps in going from pool or beach to the 3rd floor kitchen, etc! Very quiet location and we felt so secluded even though houses are next door. The weather was so great we didn’t really take advantage of the theater room but it seemed comfortable and air conditioned. We loved the location and May is great without the crowds. We would definitely recommend this house."

"I overlooked this property in previous trips to the area because of lack of reviews....Big Mistake! This beach home is fantastic! The pool area is great and we loved the theater. My only suggestion would be another refrigerator to accommodate more occupants. Beautiful home, great views. We would book this property again!"
